Bitstamp will start BCH trading in next couple of weeks Posted: 21 Nov 2017 07:13 AM PST Bitstamp will start BCH trading in next couple of weeks. News was confirmed by Bitstamp CEO and trading will start in next couple of weeks. https://www.forbes.com/sites/laurashin/2017/11/21/bitstamp-to-launch-bitcoin-cash-trading/#1350c8b512b9 [link] [comments] |
Just curious, why do people use Coinbase when it takes so much time to transfer deposits? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 09:20 AM PST Surely, there must be better options in US (or any other country where people use it). Here I am in India and I can send up to $3000 to an Indian exchange instantly and more than that within an hour. Or is Indian banking system better than America's (I would be pleasantly surprised it were true) ? [link] [comments] |

Will net neutrality law changes negatively impact BTC prices? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 04:57 AM PST I feel like these changes are a massive threat to bitcoin and crypto-currency in general. Anyone else had similar thoughts? [link] [comments] |
Any (software) tools that you use? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 04:41 AM PST Hey guys, I recently got into trading, and am enjoying it alot. A question I have is: Do you guys use / know any tools to keep track of everything? I find it hard to manage multiple bitcoin wallets, an ethereum wallet, litecoin wallet, multiple webpages for charts, trading platforms, exchanges and logs of all the transactions. It would be nice to have a (software) tool that summarizes how much of your stuff lies where, how prices changed and how much ou earned / lost anywhere. Hope that makes sense. [link] [comments] |
(Suggestion) Remove Kraken from the header ticker Posted: 20 Nov 2017 12:01 PM PST Kraken is broken for a good while now, and getting worse by the day. It seems they don't care and have abandoned the exchange. We should try to not advertise them and warn all the newcomers to not use them. Bitstamp and GDAX have the second highest EUR volume, so if you want to replace Kraken I'd suggest any of those two (preferably Bitstamp). [link] [comments] |
What is stopping another Chinese manipulation attempt of bitcoin as seen in 2014? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 10:06 AM PST Everyone is saying this time it's different, but how can we be so sure? [link] [comments] |
Wondering where a US citizen could exchange BTG for BTC Posted: 21 Nov 2017 06:47 AM PST |
How to trade from unsupported countries? Posted: 20 Nov 2017 11:24 PM PST I'm in kuwait and no reliable exchange in my knowledge supports trading here. Is there any way around to tackle this problem, so that I can do trading without these restrictions. PS: Advance level trading like we can do on GDAX. [link] [comments] |
ELI5 Request: Difference between pending CME announcement, and the Winklevoss twins' failed ETF? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 10:09 AM PST So, I don't think futures trading and exchange traded funds are the same thing. Are futures contracts easier to gain approval? Are the Winklevoss twins still working on their ETF? I understand their ETF failed because there wasn't enough regulation with Bitcoin. Would this be a roadblock to the CME futures trading? Finally, CME says they will start trading on December 11th pending regulatory review. What percentage likelihood would you say this will happen? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Nov 2017 07:45 AM PST In other words, if I put a limit order at the current price will I be subject to the maker or taker fee? Lets say that the order gets matched almost immediately, but still added liquidity for a hot second. [link] [comments] |
New to alt coin market, had a few questions. Posted: 21 Nov 2017 07:14 AM PST I've been doing this a few days, establishing some semblance of a strategy, right now im holding New York coin. I wanted to know, on these microcap coins that shoot up 600% and then drop, or ones that increase 59,000 % over a year like New York coin, has anyone personally made significant money? How do you liquidate when the trading volume is low? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 21 Nov 2017 06:01 AM PST First: Good morning, I'm new here and I've been doing some very light position trading, for educational purposes. I have .1 BTC on GDAX for this purpose, and I've made a few small position trades. If I am asking the wrong questions in the wrong places, let me know. My first Q! Last night at 6pm pst, BTC, ETH, and LTC all dipped and recovered on increased volume. Do you all think this was due to the news about Tether? Q2. It seems to me the volume and price of BTC has a lot to do with the current news in the cryptosphere. Am I way off in this observation? [link] [comments] |
Bitcoin Gold pump still to come Posted: 20 Nov 2017 10:39 PM PST I noticed BTG started falling exactly at the same time the Tether hack was announced I bet there was a whale group trying to pump things up to 0.1 but the Tether announcement interrupted it Looks like they're accumulating right now for one more pump and then a big exit Just a heads up [link] [comments] |
Bitfinex BTG deposit disabled? Posted: 20 Nov 2017 03:48 PM PST Looking to sell my BTG but I can't deposit it with bitfinex even though it is trading there. Anyone know if/when it will be activated? If not, it HitBTC reliable? Thanks [link] [comments] |
Is it normal to wait 7 business days for a bank transfer to coinbase? Still pending. Posted: 20 Nov 2017 08:51 PM PST |
Posted: 20 Nov 2017 11:38 PM PST Sorry if this is against the rules(Not sure if this is a support question), I found this subreddit when I was googling the answer. I received a text about an hour before I made this post. The sender was named 'BTC-Trader' and was automatically named in my phone(I never saved the number or recognise it). The text says "[My name], your account has possibly been credited 1 BTC (9 398.61 AUD), register within 24h to accept the transfer. [bit ly link] Opt out: NO Is this a scam of some kind? I only googled BTC and looked around on a site explaining what they are and how to get them(Showing interest basically), but I never signed up for anything or gave my number out. [link] [comments] |

[Info needed] App or website to manage portfolio, with possibility to add fees Posted: 20 Nov 2017 04:01 PM PST Even though I have been following the topic for some time, I just recently got into the market. I was looking for a portfolio app (iOS) (or something web based) that would let me add the amount of altcoin bought, the value of the coin at said moment, but I would also like to be able to add fees, if that was the case. Blockfolio doesn't let me add fees, Coincap doesn't let me say how much I paid for the amount.. Any suggestion is appreciated. I know some apps can track your transactions if connected to the market, but I've read that it can be risky sometimes.. thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
