Congrats to Tim Draper for his 2014 price prediction of $10,000 for Bitcoin in 3 years when it was only trading then around $400.

    Why Bitcoin Cash Will Dominate

Bitcoin is overheated and overdue for a correction. Trouble is, it is no longer underpinned by the utility of a merchant network--the correction has no floor

Cryptonator just decided to rename Bitcoin Cash to Bcash. Not using this wallet anymore. Just moved all my Bitcoin Cash from them to Bitcoin.com's wallet.

Bcash is an obvious attempt by the Bitcoin Core community to distance Bitcoin Cash from the Bitcoin label even though Bitcoin Cash is closer to the original Bitcoin then core is. I encourage everyone to stop using wallets and exchanges that switch to the label Bcash. I won't use any service that does this.

Call the coin what the developers call it.

Just sold my last Core coins.

I still have a few BCH stored just in case..

I don't think it's the time be greedy right now. If you still want more or even expect more you should really reconsider (speaking about not selling @10k if you have any core coins left)

Grab your cars and houses. Pack your Wife, Kids and socks. Go for a long vacation and forget about all the greed and power games surrounding Bitcoin and the world. Just enjoy life!

You earned your money to spend it while you are healthy and alive. Hope you guys (are able) to do this as well!

Have Fun guys! It was Amazing°!

    :)

the 'bcash' labelling ramping up despite 10k btc. they must be really scared up to compete on merit or they wouldn't be giving Bitcoin Cash so much attention

It'll probably have predictable effects, which is a little stale at this point... so probably don't spam the front page, don't upvote this too much? Just want to let people who frequent /new know about this, that's all.

You'd think people dismissing the whitepaper with "TECHNOLOGY EVOLVES" wouldn't need to trick outdated nodes into staying on the network without updating through the use of a deceptive soft fork...

The sign that I had been expecting has happened

    Posted: 29 Nov 2017 01:33 AM PST

So I knew it would happen and I originally thought it would be a good sign but I now, with the mad price rise this year think it's a bad sign. And I'm not talking about the 10k prise barrier.

This morning I picked up my phone, and saw a Facebook notification that my wife had tagged me in a post. It was someone she works with and they had posted on Facebook a graph of this year's price rise and a comment along the lines of " I'm so smart, I bought bitcoin and now it worth loads". Reading more into the comments, he only got in quite recently and is 100% only interested in $value. Another scary comment comes from someone else saying that neo is the best investment now.

I always thought that the day I saw bitcoin talked about on Facebook would be a great day, someone would be talking about how they bought something with it or they used it on holiday instead of the local fiat. But no it's all about how much $$$$$$$$ bitcoin has made them ( or how much they think it's made them if they were to cash out)

I haven't commented but I'm tempted to and I'm tempted to ask what they think about BCH, I just know these "experts" of 1 or 2 months will all chime in "bcash" along with some misinformation and bullshit. They are like sheep.

I honestly feel gutted and like bitcoin got stolen and fucked up the ass by the $$
