Safest way to sweep BTC off a paper wallet to claim BCH? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 09:50 AM PST I don't have an android phone. Any good Apple wallets? I don't really trust blockchain.info. Thanks [link] [comments]
DO NOT USE BITTREX! [no support, no account activations] Posted: 21 Nov 2017 05:55 AM PST Avoid bittrex at all costs. I've had a support ticket open for over 18 days with human interaction on the ticket whatsoever. They have a bot auto responding to tickets but no one is providing any actual support. support@bittrex.com is supposed to be a support channel too, but if you email it, it fails to generate a support ticket. If any of you have access to the Bittrex slack channel, could you inform me if actual support is taking place there? If so, post my ticket number in there for me please Finally... what exchanges are people trading on in the US? I thought I could trust bittrex because they were stateside, but obviously that is not the case. bittrex support ticket #391952 (in case bittrex sees this and feels like actually helping) [link] [comments]

Is a Coinb.in BTC tx to segwit address valid on BCH as a replay? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 09:44 AM PST If you create a BTC transaction to a segwit address, is that transaction going to work on BCH if broadcast on that this network? Here is an unsigned transaction for instance that should send funds from one BTC address to another BTC segwit address... is it valid on BCH if it was signed? (BTW I'm just picking these addresses randomly, no idea who owns them) [link] [comments]
So... Who else believes in this coming week end spike? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 12:06 PM PST Philakone the prophet has told us a crazy spike was coming soon. Price of bch is stabilizing around 1200, which is much higher than he predicted. A friend of mine who said made close to a million in crypto believes it too. Are we in for a trip to the moon this week end? What price target? 4k? Higher? I currently own 2 bch, I've just started trading and this first week has been rough as I've made many many beginners mistake. I really hope bch saves my week :) [link] [comments]

Has anyone sent BCH to antiwar.com Posted: 21 Nov 2017 06:28 AM PST Their address isn't working for me and I don't know if it's a problem with their address or my wallet. [link] [comments]
Thoughts on these two paste bin write ups that could explain current movements in BCH? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 01:24 AM PST July 30th 2017 - https://pastebin.com/n0aGBMQr November 14th 2017 - https://pastebin.com/aiAE30S2 Seems like the price is being artificially manipulated and will continue for a short while more when BTC hashrate drops and BCH's increases. old blockchain.info seedwords not working for importing wallet in bitcoin.com wallet? Posted: 21 Nov 2017 06:41 AM PST I have an old blockchain.info wallet from a while back which I have the 12 seedwords for. It was a bitcoin wallet not bitcoincash but was created well before the fork. The 12 seedwords dont seem to be working for importing it as a bitcoincash wallet with the bitcoin.com wallet. Was blockchain.info bip39 compatible or whatever? Or are there other bitcoincash wallets that will support the blockchain.info seedwords? Thanks. [link] [comments]

Recovering BCH sent to Segwit addresses Posted: 21 Nov 2017 08:01 AM PST Some of you may have noticed this transaction recently which spent 493.54495133 BCH that was stored in segwit outputs. I have taken all of these coins to help those that have mistakenly sent BCH to segwit addresses. If you mistakenly sent BCH to a segwit address, send me a PM or send an email to bchsegwitrecover@mail2tor.com. Be sure to include the segwit address you are trying to recover coins from. In order to claim your BCH, you will need to provide signed messages from the addresses of the inputs of the transactions that created the segwit outputs for a given address. If multiple people had sent to the same segwit address, then it is acceptable to only provide signed messages from the addresses involved in one of the transactions that created a segwit output and you will receive the BCH for only that specific output. The signed message must include the address that you are recovering coins from and a recent block hash. Recovery requests will be processed manually and the transactions will be done daily. However I am only human and this may take a long time to do. Because of the significant effort that was required to both claim these BCH and to verify that each person is the person who should be receiving the BCH, I will be taking 30% of the BCH recovered as a recovery fee. This means that you will receive 70% of the funds that was stored with a segwit address. Furthermore, I cannot do this forever, so you will have until December 5th, 2017 at 23:59:59 UTC to send your message to recover your BCH. I will process any message that has a timestamp of before that date and time. The following is an example recovery request message:

Posted: 21 Nov 2017 01:42 PM PST For what reason would BCH take off again? Do you guys see BCH cracking $1500, $2000 and beyond again or any time soon? Why? There's no hash power, it's all gone back to BTC. The miners have decided, unless this decision can be reversed (how?) I only see BCH clinging on sideways until it's inevitable drop. Call me impatient, but BCH move already ! Posted: 21 Nov 2017 12:38 PM PST --- EDIT : I was bored and penned down the below. But actually more like a joke. Don't take it too serious. I'd be happy if BCH lingers on a while more. Hope I didn't jinx it ;-) --- Going like an old grandma taking a strawl for a week and a half now. Slight upset in the weekend but was shortlived. It's just left to right in a snail's pace. Of course better than going down and really happy with the support at 1200USD so short after the turbulent Nov 12th, but jeeze I'm getting a bit impatient. 0.144, 5 hours later 0.146, 2 days later 0.143, a week later 0.144. I'm still backing the coin 100%, am all in. Bitstamp and Coinbase listing will for sure be good for price, but am a bit afraid I'll fall asleep and simply miss out on that if I have to endure many more 0.14's until that time :-) Of course the coin won't rise by itself, so peoples hit that BUY button !!! If anyone wants to translate this post and put it on the Korean subreddit and on Bithump that would be highly appreciated as well. After that, see you in Monaco in a couple of weeks.
