Bitcoin alone won't be able to solve its scalability issues. Yes, it got an upgrade, but compared to other blockchains it's still wayyyy behind.

Let's face it, Bitcoin wouldn't be as big as it is now if it wasn't for forks like Bitcoin Cash and others like Bitcoin Latinum that save people for the transactions fee hell and long waiting times.

I think forks in general will never fade out of the crypto market especially with the market growing at a very fast speed each month more than the other.
