- Going rate 2nd market prices
- Just received 60 mainboards from China. Time to build it up
- Why do the nvidia cards with 2.5X the MH have only 1.75X the shares? Is nvidia/trex slacking or amd/teamred outperforming?
- 700+ MH/s 9GPU's. New to mining just wanted to show my Rig.
- Well, finally got them dialed in, 480 to 520 Mhs stable
- I couldn't have done it without you guys! (thank you!)
- Learn from my mistake
- Dual 3060 on x570 master
- My humble rig, without thermal pad mods. With good air circulation.
- New Here! My buddy and I’s 5x RX 480 and 1x RX 580 Simple Mining OS rig. 180 mhs at 800w
- hashrate wont go higher with more memory clock
- Reduced temps by ~ -4°C ... prep for future 110°F summer. (currently 81°F outside)
- Any suggestions on settings? Also does ethenlargement pill only work for rx400 series and 1070s?
- Tax man
- My first homemade rig! 10x 2060s bought last week.
- Stability problems after updating NVIDIA driver to latest version
- Looking for someone to check if my mining rig setup is safe. I summon thee electrician expert.

Posted: 02 Apr 2021 07:08 PM PDT About 2 months ago I started my mining rig. Everything was going well for close to a month then I decided to expand so I got risers and the whole Shabang. Well in a combination of bad light, being in a hurry and being a noob, I put the riser in backwards on my x16 pcie slot. Switched it on, couldn't figure out why my gpu wasn't getting power. Around 30 secs later I got a scent of burning plastic. Just about caught the riser on fire. Burnt up my brand new motherboard and brand new 3080. Luckily got everything replaced. 1 month later after missing profitable mining I am back up and running. Moral of the story, don't be me. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Apr 2021 11:59 AM PDT If wanting to get 2 x 3060s mining on one mobo (so must b at least connected to mobo and have x8 bandwidth), will a 1600af on an x570 master work? "2nd Generation AMD Ryzen™ processors: 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, supporting PCIe 3.0 and running at x16 (PCIEX16) 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, supporting PCIe 3.0 and running at x8 (PCIEX8)" "The PCIEX8 slot shares bandwidth with the PCIEX16 slot. When using the 3rd Generation AMD Ryzen™ processors/2nd Generation AMD Ryzen™ processors and PCIEX8 slot is populated, the PCIEX16 slot operates at up to x8 mode" Note the 1600af is 2nd gen ryzen. Also i know its a weird combo but i can get the cpu and mobo for $250usd in total. Just worried about lanes [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Apr 2021 04:48 AM PDT What is/are tax implications of crypto mining. I guess u can write off hydro as expense, and you'd be able to claim office expenses, but what other real expenses can you off set the super income level from mining, because I imagine uncle sam/ Mr tredeau ( canadian here) will want their cut. Stability problems after updating NVIDIA driver to latest version Posted: 03 Apr 2021 08:11 AM PDT Recently I updated my Nvidia driver (don't ask me why) and after that I started getting a lot of stability problems with the current settings that I was using on my 2x 3070 Zotac Twin Edge. I had to decrease the memory clock and give away 2MH/s in exchange of stability (I use my mining rig as my main PC too, but never had any problems before), otherwise my PC keeps freezing and the screens keeps blinking. Anyone facing a similar problem? OBS 1: I'm not at home but I think the problematic driver version is 462.86 or something like that. OBS 2: Old settings was -400 core, +1300 mem, 55 plimit for 62.5MH/s. New settings are -450 core, +1250 mem, 55 plimit for 61.5MH/s. [link] [comments]
Looking for someone to check if my mining rig setup is safe. I summon thee electrician expert. Posted: 03 Apr 2021 01:42 AM PDT Hi, Built my first mining rig. - 5x 3070 I'm using the set with one of these power strips (surge protection whatever that means). Since I live in Hungary, we have 230 V from the wall, and my circuit, (phase?!) is 16 A I would like to ask experts what are these numbers and if my setup is safe? I know one thing: Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]
Standard PC Tower + TB3 external EGPU setup Posted: 03 Apr 2021 06:03 AM PDT Greetings fellow miners, Long story short I got a 2x RTX 3080 PC tower mining/gaming rig that I'm considering to expand by hooking up a EGPU via TB3 port (the only reason I consider it it's because I already got the EGPU, sitting and collecting dust) I got a ASUS ROG XG Station2 2 Thunderbolt 3 USB 3.0 External Graphics with a Radeon RX 590 (this one). All I would have to do is to purchase an TB3 PCIE to my PC. Question - did someone already experimented with such setup? How is the driver situation? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Are you guys buying ebay scalped cards? Posted: 02 Apr 2021 03:39 PM PDT I for the life of me cant figure out where you guys get so many cards you can't be getting lucky with every drop can you? [link] [comments]
[Help] 2miners issue, unable to connect to it's servers. Posted: 03 Apr 2021 04:57 AM PDT The following is the error that keeps looping. This doesn't happens on any other pool. Have tried various pc specs, including running a single fan gtx 1060 6gb on my main pc and all the other mining setups I have, it is definitely not a hardware issue, as the machines can mine on all other pools except 2miners for some reason. Have tried all the three 2miners region pools. And am using the sample file provided by them on their website. Trying to connect in 1 second [link] [comments]
RTX 3060 mining rate hack not working Posted: 03 Apr 2021 04:40 AM PDT Someone out there who has managed to get RTX 3060 12gb cards work with higher hashrate (45+)? I have installed 470.05 driver and connected my card to full pcie slot (no riser) and also connected a display to it, but still getting 20-25 hashrate. Someone else had similar problem and managed to resolve it? [link] [comments]
Do you guys think I should really upgrade to an rtx 3070? Posted: 03 Apr 2021 08:18 AM PDT Hi! I have a PC with a gtx 1080. I started mining 8-9 days ago and i'm already impressed by the money i made. I always wanted some of those fancy rtx 3070 cards so badly, not only will it incraese my hash rate but I can actually play VR games in higher refresh rate and maybe it'll come into some use in the future as I'm learning video editing and AI stuff. but the price I have to pay to upgrade is 750$~. my dad seeing how much i'm making monthly agreed to pay the price for me! but I"m really scared. isn't etherium gonna be non-minable soon? someone told me that's not a worry and that monreo etc will still be minable. but eitherway. for an INDIVIDUAL with insanely cheap electricity, do you think the upgrade is worth it? what made him do that for me was me telling him that in just 7 ~months I'll be making the difference and start getting double the money every month. but I"m scared mining won't last that long.. (740$ divided by 3 more dollars a day divided by 31). after that I'd be making a hecking life changing (for someone my age) 180$ a month!!!! that's so much, my dad gives me 70$ a month right now. I could spend it on learning new things and my projects. any thoughts? the person buying my current card will arrive here tomorrow and I already made the deal with the person i'm buying the rtx 3070 from tomarrow. Random GPUs is/are Lost on Phoenix? Posted: 03 Apr 2021 03:23 AM PDT Hi guys. Have a rig composed of 3 3080, 4 3070 , 2 3060 tis and 1 1660 ti. For some reason 1 gpu is having an issue on phoenixminer where gpu is lost so figured maybe was OC settings. but other time it shows like all GPUs are lost. trying to figure how to run smoothly without restarting constantly. i have the 10 cards split into 3 psus 1200 watts each, have a open air rig with 2 big box fans behind the gpus and seem temps are fine. Im not extremely OCing neither too greedy for mhz. just trying to figure why keep crashing and make it stable. also running latest nvidia driver, idk if maybe should try an older driver? also it is the GPU order on phoenix the same as afterburner? Posted: 03 Apr 2021 12:25 AM PDT Well, last when I posted about an ASRock board not working with +4 GPUs, I couldn't find a solution, so does anyone know of another Z390 board that handles 6, preferably 8 GPUs? [link] [comments] |
