Local Takeaway Now Accepts BCH Posted: 27 Apr 2021 12:24 AM PDT I've only been part of this community for a while, maybe a handful of weeks properly, but I've grown to see the benefits of it over BTC in real life. Previously, the shop had accepted BTC payments on orders, and me having held some decided it would be fun to buy a couple of pizzas with it. As someone who literally never spends their bitcoin I was a bit oblivious to the ridiculously high transaction fees and ended up paying almost 50% extra on my order for food, without mentioning how long it took for the payment to actually be confirmed by them. 🥴 Needless to say, I went down yesterday and introduced them to BCH, which they now accept instead of BTC after some persuasion and preaching. God bless low fees 🙏 [link] [comments]
Why do I have a $15 miner fee to send $30 worth of money? Posted: 26 Apr 2021 09:32 PM PDT Wow. Not worth it. Apparently BitPay was good but why do I have high Miner Fees? Why? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Apr 2021 12:46 PM PDT https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/myxe9z/taproot_activation_status/gvyagfa/ 1) Despite Greg Maxwell claiming he is no longer a Bitcoin Core developer why is he shaming Luke-Jr into merging a patch that he does not wish to merge? Why is Luke-Jr calling Greg Maxwell a liar? 2) Why is Greg Maxwell telling the /r/bitcoin what they must do in their subreddit? Why is a non Bitcoin Core developer(Maxwell) trying to get a Bitcoin Core developer (Luke-Jr) banned from /r/bitcoin? What influence does he have over the moderators in that subreddit? Converting BTC to BCH with lowest fees. Posted: 27 Apr 2021 01:38 AM PDT Hi, I bought some amount of BTC a month ago on coinbase but now I want to convert it to BCH. Do I need to pay the conversion fees and transfer fees (if I need to transfer) ? Where can I do this with least fees? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Apr 2021 12:17 PM PDT Been watching the project for around a few months now and recently came on reddit to check it out and was blown away by the community behind it! I really want to to start pushing the use of BCH and will be accepting it for my business some point soon looking forward to watching adoption grow!!!! [link] [comments]
CashFusion is amazing. That's all I have to say. Posted: 26 Apr 2021 12:47 PM PDT I just started using CashFusion within Electron Cash. You click one button, and behind the scenes, it combines your coins with other participants in one large transaction for better anonymity. So easy! [link] [comments]

Have the Maxi's even tried Bch? Posted: 26 Apr 2021 01:55 PM PDT I just did a $4.00 Bch transaction from read.cash to my mobile wallet. I mean it's blindingly fast ! It cost virtually nothing to do. Have the Maxi's never tried Bch? Boy would the have some explaining to do as to why they continue to push Btc as the real Bitcoin. Lack of adoption will leave Btc behind in terms of being anything useable. Bch really is just mind blowingly good, it's that simple. I know you all know this but to me having been a Maxi, it never ceases to blow me away. I love it. It's making digital cash useable for everybody and anybody. I am already asking and speaking with companies that accept Btc but not Bch, asking them why not, and when Bch. Because with this kind of ease of use coupled with the speed it's a winner hands down. The maxi have got the orange coin where they wanted as an SOV. They talk about being humble all the time and yet none appear to be. Be humble Maxi's and accept that Bch absolutely rules when it comes to P2P cash. Try it for yourselves and prove me wrong. [link] [comments]
A Full PR Update for Bitcoin Cash Posted: 26 Apr 2021 01:52 PM PDT There are a lot of wrong ideas and old information out there about Bitcoin Cash so I am thinking we need to do a full public relations update for BCH. We could target say the top 25 online properties, pages, etc, that people consult to get information on BCH. For example:
What are the initial points of contact for newbies who are looking into BCH to form an impression about it? That's where I want to have an impact, both to displace haters and help get people off on the right foot. We could use the full variety of marketing & PR tactics, SEO, paid aids, direct outreach, influencers, etc. For example, I recently placed this article into the top 2 Google results for Bitcoin Cash roadmap: https://bitcoincash.site/blog/unofficial-bitcoin-cash-roadmap-2021/ Ideas, volunteers, etc welcome. TIA. Signed, the "PR guy" 🙄 [link] [comments]
Why don't the people waiting for a bus on TxStreet just cross the road and get on the open bus? Posted: 26 Apr 2021 11:14 AM PDT It seems like waiting for a bus when there's one available across the street that's going the same way is kinda inefficient [link] [comments]
Is BCH the best or one of the best cryptos to invest in currently? Posted: 26 Apr 2021 03:23 PM PDT I'm thinking of putting a small amount of money (only about $50 because I'm still a teenager and not sure enough about this) into a crypto aside from bitcoin (I have ~$200 in it because I mined it a little bit back in 2018). Is BCH the best crypto to invest in as of now or are there more promising cryptos? Thanks in advance, this sub has been super helpful for me :) [link] [comments]

Gaming tournaments and duels with BCH Posted: 26 Apr 2021 09:13 PM PDT Do you guys think that it's possible to build a bridge between massive online games and the crypto ecosystem without the need for the game itself to integrate crypto? For example, an app where you can register and link with your Steam or PSN accounts (maybe tracking these accounts in some way) and be ready to bet a certain amount of BCH or other crypto with any player who wants to join the "room" and accept the bet. Chaintip bot is beating the other tip bots Posted: 26 Apr 2021 03:23 PM PDT I was using lightning tip bot when i started with crypto but the lightning network is a pain in the butt to move on and off. The ln bot also is probably collecting a million unclaimed tips. Chaintip is on chain and returns if unclaimed. just look at how many lightning tips and then look at chaintip bot tips per day. XD are there even other tip bots ? Lol . so much more goin on and new people hodling bch because of the bot. Chaintip is a beast. keep up the good work. That is all fam [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Apr 2021 01:14 AM PDT What are they? I'm trying to get my bearings in this whole BTC vs BCH thing. I understand the concerns about big blocks, but also see that core BTC is unusable in its current state as digital cash, at least not by the masses. I raised my concerns on r/bitcoin and got some good answers, the bulk of which were talking about BTC being the "gold" guarantee behind the "cash" of 2nd and 3rd layer systems to come. The same way that you don't carry gold coins to pay for coffee, BTC don't need to move every time you order pizza. This makes sense to me, but sounds a little like fiat currency with extra steps. What are the limitations of layers as a scaling solution for core BTC? [link] [comments]
