I had a crazy acid trip and I am 100% convinced it was the universe telling me to buy bitcoin

    Posted: 02 Mar 2021 12:15 AM PST

My friend and I dropped some acid and had literally a 4 hour conversation about why Bitcoin is unstoppable. I will attempt to write as much of it down here (I'm curious to hear your thoughts and whether you agree or think I'm a mad man), but we had so many interesting ideas that I wish I had it on video or some shit.

Basically, we are big stock guys who dabbled in bitcoin, but have never fully committed. But after this, we are 100% on board.

So basically, as you know, retail investing has been on the rise. More and more people have begun investing, and they are only beginning to realize the power they have. You don't need go be a billionaire to invest, and honestly the whole system is kind of bullshit. People claim stock prices are built on "fundamentals" and they are to some extent. But every stock has INTRINSIC value (the "fundamentals", EPS, value for having a successful business, ect) and extrinsic value (hype, speculation on future, ect) This whole GME thing has made people realize that. They banded together and moved a market, sticking it to the guys at the top. However, trading was halted, and with malicious intent or not, Robinhood and its billionaire investors halted trading, ending the retail revolution.

So, now that people realize that stocks are bullshit with whatever value we collectively place on them, and that they have power in numbers... what is the logical conclusion?

    BITCOIN

More and more people will realize that decentralized finance is better in every way. It's sticking it to the government, not allowing them to manipulate and control every aspect of the financial system. If everyone just holds, everyone could be rich, and bitcoin could begin to rival the US dollar, with investors who got in relatively early being rich like all the hedge funds. Unlike in the stock market, no institution could halt trading, meaning there is literally no way bitcoin could be rejected. It's like the snowball effect. It will just keep getting bigger and bigger as it gains more institutional and retail support.

For part two of our theory, we realized that after our last president showed just how influential social media can be to politics, it is only a matter of time before someone runs for office on the platform of Bitcoin and decentralized finance. Because decentralized finance would benefit everyone in the country, it could be a wildly popular opinion, and even a way forward into the future. All it takes is for this OBVIOUS idea of someone tying bitcoin to politics to happen.

Anyways, am I crazy? Or did the universe actually give me reasons that bitcoin cannot fail?

If you think bitcoin is only used by criminals, wait until you hear that banks help launder $2 trillion every year.

    Posted: 02 Mar 2021 12:46 AM PST

Bitcoin being used by criminals is still some of the most long-lived FUD out there. It is something that still often comes up today when I hear nocoiners talk about Bitcoin and is often cited as a reason not to invest.

    Take care of your teeth

    Posted: 01 Mar 2021 07:35 PM PST

Back in the fall, my dentist told me that I'd need to get a couple teeth pulled and the best way forward would be a partial denture. The quote came in about $2000. (Seriously, floss every night). As it happened, I got a bonus around the same time from work that was for a similar amount. I put the money into Bitcoin (ofc) and now that money has more than doubled so I'm getting my denture for free or rather for…. Bitecoin🦷

    Back over $50K!

    Posted: 01 Mar 2021 04:26 PM PST

📈 Yesterday morning some people on the board were in despair and ready to sell at 43K, if not earlier than that. Hopefully they did not and this is a lesson that BTC can rise as quickly as it falls.

    Setbacks are temporary.

If if dips again after this post, I know in the long term it will be higher again.

    HODL and accumulate.

What part of HOLD is not registering with y’all?

    Posted: 01 Mar 2021 05:03 PM PST

I see post after post about people panicking about the prices.

Just buy it and hold it. If you're in Bitcoin to day trade, that's your prerogative. But no one here cares that you're scared of a price drop. Because those that understand are completely unfazed by 30% swings.

Literally just buy it and leave it forever.

Price won't matter in the end.

If you're putting money in that you can afford to lose, then there's no reason to fret.

If you're putting your life savings in as a gamble, that's not smart.

Invest responsibly and just HOLD. it's not that hard.

I have tried to defeat the New York Bitlicence; I failed and I am running for Public Advocate and on 3/2/2021 I am debating the Current NYC Public Advocate. We are going to debate one on one and the topic of Bitcoin will come over.

I have tried to use the Judicial System to destroy the bitlicense. I use to have a small business called Chino Ltd and I failed (there is a link on my old business to all the details on that failed lawsuit but that is not the point of this post.)

I have called the current politicians over the corruption and I will bring out the Bitlicense and if that what they plan to do with the Decriminalization of Marijuana.

The link to the link to the link to Facebook is here: https://fb.me/e/3vF0q2t3O

Would be wonderful if you could get the Facebook viewership up the roof. As a bitcoiner going against a clueless politician will be interesting.
