Look at dogecoin, people love it just because it has a funny dog as a mascot. Btt has captain jack spparow. Ether has Vitalin Buterin who looks like horror character and so on. But what has Litecoin? Nothing. Just one Chinese who sold all his litecoins and this is not funny. People dont prefer litecoin, because they just dont have a reason why to prefer it. Its not funny, its not hyped. | Memes are good, change my mind Posted: 11 Feb 2021 07:24 PM PST I keep seeing posts a long the lines of, "Don't meme guys, just buy and hold, we don't want a pump and dump." I understand the sentiment, but I think this is the wrong way to look at things and we need to change as a community. Memes are a fun form of marketing, they don't inherently cause pump and dumps. Pumps can occur when people buy into something on hype and a positive perception, then a dump can occur when they're off the high and realize the asset they bought is overvalued or they can't perceive the value. Although we all love DOGE, and GameStop, these assets are generally perceived as overvalued when they reach their peaks and therefore tend to dump. Litecoin is different. Litecoin is UNDERVALUED and can therefore highly benefit from memes. We need to embrace memes as a tool to show them this is the way. Meme it up, fun and insightful memes, memes about low fees and mimblewimble, and when the pump happens and people get to that $420.69 ATH, they'll look at their Litecoin and say "I'm hodling, because we're just getting started!" If Bitcoin is Gold and Litecoin is Silver, it's time to get back to the 0.02 ratio boys. Saddle up, we're going to the moon. [link] [comments]  | ||

I'm able to extract both public and private keys from it and have verified that it is not empty and has balances on the LTC blockchain. I haven't really been paying attention to Litecoin for the last few years and before I bring this thing online, is there anything I should know? LTC Hardforks? Replay issues? wallet incompatibilities? I should just be able to dump the keys and import into Electrum right? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 11 Feb 2021 01:10 PM PST Ive got a problem with the Wallet Transaction Fee. It states that the recommended fee is 0.0001 LTC/kB. My file is 0.189kB I clicked on custom so I can pay more and it's not letting me select 0.55LTC/kB which would equate to 0.1LTC so round $18-$19. It keeps coming up with error signs saying "Fee exceeds maximum configured by -maxtxfee". Even when I have tried 0.09LTC/kB it comes up with the same issue. The recommended fee is too low and even when using the recommended transaction fee it takes longer than it says and hasn't been confirmed, it says at the bottom that if the fee is too low it will take longer to get confirmed or it will not get confirmed at all. I am trying to up the fee, I'm willing to pay more for it to get confirmation but its not letting me. Please give me the right amount to enter to have a successful quick confirmation for my 546 coins. I look forward from hearing back from you [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 11 Feb 2021 02:06 PM PST Hi Community, I need some help regarding my LTC transaction. Unfortuantly it does not work to send LTC to my Trezor or any other wallet. The transaction details displays the following message: " 0/unconfirmed, not in memory pool". Also the debug.log file shows: "CommitTransaction(): Transaction cannot be broadcast immediately, (code 0)" i've tried to double the recommended transaction fee but it does not work. Transaction Details: Transaction total size: 189 bytes Any tips or tricks how to make this work ? [link] [comments]  |
