Does anyone else still feel like a complete boss moving crypto around?

    Posted: 28 Nov 2020 10:06 PM PST

I've been holding and trading crypto since the end of 2017 and I have used all sorts of wallets and exchanges throughout the space, but I still feel like a freakin' secret agent moving value around.

So awesome to do a transaction on one side, and see it come through on the other. The bigger the value the better it feels.

And don't even get me started on the rush I get from using my hardware wallets...

Being my own bank rocks the house! Only crypto allows us to safely be our own banks, and facilitate our own wires. So freakin cool. I can't get enough of it!

Don't Underestimate How Crazy Things Can Get

    Posted: 28 Nov 2020 06:53 PM PST

Sure, its' good to be realistic and not have too high expectations, but consider this... I had 3500 monero in 2016, at the time that was just worth a few thousand dollars as monero was only trading for a few dollars per coin. Throughout the course of the year i sold it all off to pay rent and whatnot. Ran out because i kept selling every month to pay bills, by late 2016 i had no crypto left. Then a little over a year later in fall of 2017 everything went bananas and monero hit $400... So i learned my lesson that that if i hadn't sold off my monero to pay my billls i would've been worth half a mil right now, and about $2 mil at monero's 2017 peak.

So that shows you how things can get crazy very quickly and how much it pays off to just hodl instead of selling when things look flat or boring or going down. Things could easily get that crazy again this time. Do your research and figure out what coins you wanna be holding during this upcoming bull run, personally I'm gonna be holding bitcoin monero and Nano.

    Mods please start deleting reposts

    Posted: 29 Nov 2020 12:05 AM PST

I know this is the cryptocurrency subreddit, no censorship blah blah... But it is so annoying scrolling the sub when every second post here is a meme, that was first posted years ago.

Today when I was scrolling my feed, I have seen three posts from r/cryptocurrency and all three of them were memes and all three were reposts. Some of them were first seen years ago. Like the Interstellar "1 hour gere is 7 years on earth, let's hodl" meme, I see it at least once weekly and it's probably been made first in 2014, when the movie was released.

Anyway, please mods, start deleting those posts. It's incredibly annoying and no fun to scroll the sub when all you see is the same unfunny content over and over again. It's especially bad since the moons have been released.
