Bitcoin has finally broken $20,000 AUD

    My bitcoin outperforms me.

    Posted: 04 Nov 2020 10:17 PM PST

I've been into bitcoin for a long time but I've never had spare money to buy much. This past couple years I've been making more and have been better at putting some aside for it. I'm a barback/food runner. I make the bartender look good. Tonight I worked. Tonight my bitcoin worked. Tonight was a decent night ,but my bitcoin made more than 4x what I did, working my ass off. Is this what welthy people do? Just watch money make more than they ever could? Anyway, I'm I'm glad I've been stacking sats.

Why is there no media coverage of BTC like in 2017 ?

    Posted: 05 Nov 2020 02:41 AM PST

At this BTC level in 2017, media were crazy about BTC, which caused the bubble to explode. Why is it not the case right now ?

Too much COVID and too much US elections ?

    WHEN to invest into BTC?

    Posted: 05 Nov 2020 01:38 AM PST

When is the best time to invest into Bitcoin? Now? Or can we expect price to fall in the next weeks/months? I know this can't be 100% predicted, but would you invest at the current price, or would you wait for the market to go down a bit?

One more question: Where do you all store your BTC? Simply in a bitcoin wallet or in a service like Celsius, which earns you an interest rate? Don't feel limited to Celsius tho, there might be better options I don't know about.

Your feedback would help me A LOT, thank you all in advance :)

Bitcoin is getting near its ATH. However, retail interest appears nowhere to be seen on Google Trends compared to December 2017

I created an account-less crypto portfolio tracker that runs in your browser.

    Posted: 05 Nov 2020 03:34 AM PST

    Hey everyone,

I've been working on a little crypto portfolio tracker that runs in your browser. It's fairly simple but I hope it serves as a nice companion app for monitoring your portfolio and the markets.

    Link: https://www.noveria.app/

    The main features are:

    • No account or sign-up required.
    • Private: Your portfolio is only stored locally in your browser. The app bulk fetches coin data so all user api requests are identical.
    • Supports the top 1000 cryptocurrencies and tokens (by market cap).
    • Display prices in over 30 fiat currencies (e.g. USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, BTC...)
    • Open source: you can read the code for yourself.
    • Re-focusing the window automatically refreshes the application.

    Future upgrades will likely include:

    • Add purchase price to show current portfolio profit/loss.
    • History graphs and charts.

If there are any issues or bugs please let me know. Also thanks to CoinGecko for the api data.
