Some useful tips you may need for the next bull run Posted: 13 May 2020 01:10 PM PDT During the previous bull run, I've made some wrong decisions that have cost me a lot of money. With the halving just behind us, we may enter a new bull run. Here are some tips for the next bull run. Feel free to add yours: • never sell your whole stack • never trade with your whole stack. not your keys not your crypto • if you have life changing amounts, you are a gambler if you hodl everything for bigger life changing amounts (lots of people have been thinking "i should have, would have, could have" everyday for the last year+) • scale out when the log chart goes parabolic, and your grandma and uber driver and katy perry are talking about bitcoins. the difference between short term gains & long term gains is more than losing 90% of your principle. markets don't care about your timetable • take chunks of your profits out of crypto entirely & diversify, you can lockup a small percentage into defi and earn interest as a hedge to offset fomo • pay your taxes (optional?) and/or save money for a rainy day in fiat • set some low limit orders you don't think will hit on the way up and be patient • set some high limit orders on the way down to catch any fat finger trades • keep a few low orders on exchanges that still allow flash crashes and think of those as your reserves • don't ever talk to people about your gains • specify a strategy prior to the new bull run, including exit points and several levels at which you plan to sell parts of your stack • help newbies who will be attracted by the new bull run and don't shill your own shitcoins [link] [comments]

Will Moons create lower quality content? Like STEEM? Posted: 13 May 2020 09:06 PM PDT Longtime steem user here, I always found that platforms that incentivize content creation brings many users out that just spew nonsense to earn points. At least with reddit, upvotes were already inherently worthless, but now this changes things. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe there will be mechanisms and users in place to downvote as needed. Steem was much less developed than Reddit, so it's possible the community can keep it in check. Either way, it's exciting to see that every reddit user is now 2 clicks away from getting an eth wallet. [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 May 2020 12:19 AM PDT Reading the FAQ, I have got an idea about the Moon token, it's based on etherum(erc-20 token) and all gas charges are paid by reddit by itself and we get the tokens every 4 weeks, but i can see people having tokens now. How did they get those tokens? Is it gonna cost gas for everytime a user gives another user a token even in this subreddit? Will the token be worth anything other than a tool for voting and a sign of trust? Does this mean reddit will be moving away from karma type of system to a token for every subreddit? How are they(reddit) gonna pay for all the gas costs? [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 May 2020 12:52 AM PDT Hi all, I haven't been involved in crypto for a few years now. I was wondering where the best places to buy BTC would be in small amounts on a regular basis. I just don't want to get ripped apart by transaction fees eating into the cost. Thanks [link] [comments]
Where can I buy or trade Moons? Posted: 14 May 2020 04:00 AM PDT I've had this idea for a very long time about tokens implemented into social media in a good way, as opposed to say the Steemit way. I like Reddit and I use it a lot so I think this is the right platform for integrating Ethereum and ERC-20. So now I would like to know where I can buy or trade Moons? Are they listed anywhere yet? Can anyone send me a few test units to play around with? [link] [comments]

Reddcoin surge! Is it bitcoin halving related or something else? Posted: 14 May 2020 05:25 AM PDT So I noticed Reddcoin was spiking and jumped in and bout 30k coins. I figured it was in anticipation of the halving, but the halving has happened, yet reddcoin is still surging. Up over 50% in last few days.. does anyone know if its just following the bitcoin spike or is there something more happening with reddcoin? Its just behaving better than other alts so wondering why? Which blockchain music sites are actually "live" (i.e. have users and pay musicians in crypto)? Posted: 14 May 2020 05:00 AM PDT Hi folks, I've been looking into different crypto-based music distribution platforms (I´m a composer myself), and have noticed a few sites that claim to pay artists in crypto (Ujo Music, Audius, etc), but based on what I've seen so far, there are a lot of projects that look fairly dead, even though the websites are still up. Does anyone know of any crypto-music distribution sites that are actually working? What I mean by that is that there is a user base, musicians are actually getting paid in crypto as promised, the project team is still actively blogging/communicating about the project, etc. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks [link] [comments] |
