Beginner needs help with Nicehash Posted: 14 May 2020 12:25 AM PDT So I'm completely new to mining and read that i can use nicehash as it is an easy introduction to mining. I'm currently using my gaming rig: R5 3600 16gb 3200mhz ram GTX 1070 Aorus with 90% power limit, +52 core clock, +100 memory clock, 60% fan speed and staying around 65 under load. Corsair RM550x My question: Since i have chosen to do GPU only mining and use my cpu for the other stuff i'm using my computer in the background, why is task manager telling me that nicehash is using 70% of my CPU usage? Currently doing 13.2mh/s. Not sure whether that is good or not. Want to have it cost as little as possible and will only be running in the background whilst i use my computer for work. EVGA RTX2060 KO, best RVN coin miner? Posted: 13 May 2020 03:07 PM PDT
Posted: 13 May 2020 02:05 PM PDT I am very very interested in mining, but do not really have the courage to drop a lot of my money on a rig. I have only tried mining once with my gaming pc, and just got addicted. The thought of getting money passively seemed so nice, but the thought of not making enough money back scared me. I guess my question is would it be worth it to start mining now? I am 16, so I would not have to cover ALL electric costs but still a good bit of it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2020 09:03 AM PDT Good Afternoon, For GPU Mining and the open air mining cases. Do you have your bank of fans pulling air from the GPUS or pushing air to the gpus? Do you have a reason you followed such practice? [link] [comments] |
