6.25 reward era, only 900 new Bitcoin each day for the whole world.. Posted: 14 May 2020 02:30 AM PDT With new supply steady going down there are less new Bitcoins available to be bought. With current reward of 6.25 Bitcoin roughly ever 10 minutes that equals 900 Bitcoin a day. 900 new Bitcoin world wide each day. Any additional demand has to come from someone willing to sell his Bitcoin. And in this statement I also assume all rewarded Bitcoin are sold immediately... Let it sink in how small this number is, before you are tempted to sell your precious. And realize this number of new coins is ONLY going to get smaller. HODL.... strong... [link] [comments] | ||

Bitcoin pizza day is fast approaching. Posted: 14 May 2020 02:24 AM PDT On May 22, 2010, now known as Bitcoin Pizza Day, Laszlo Hanyecz agreed to pay 10,000 Bitcoins for two delivered Papa John's pizzas organised on the forum bitcointalk. Will this years May 22nd anniversary mark the first time a large pizza chain like Papa John's, or Pizza Hut, or Domino's uses this as a marketing tool or publicity stunt? Possibly accepting bitcoin for their pizza on this day or offering a discount to those who pay in btc? I would be ordering pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner if they did that! Bitcoin is inevitable... and I am saddened just a bit Posted: 14 May 2020 02:43 AM PDT Not too long ago, bitcoin was ridiculed, declared dead, compared to beanie babies and tulips. The space was full of charlatans, scammers and downright fraudsters. Buttcoiners, big blockers, small blockers, Ver, CSW and the like led to schisms within the community. Now, we have big banks, big media, VC backed mining operations, millionaires and billionaires coming to the realization of the value proposition of bitcoin. It just seems bitcoin is inevitable. But that means Satoshi was right. Right in the sense, central banks were not able to resist the temptation to debase their fiat currency. Governments were not able to resist the temptation to use other people's money to save themselves. Wall Street got too greedy. Bitcoin was supposed to be an insurance policy you never hoped to cash in. It's sad really. I hope the new wealthy elite have better sense and do better for the world and not just themselves. BTFD!
