Blockstream should start a service to help others create sidechains

    Posted: 29 Apr 2020 01:53 AM PDT

The more legitimate side chains to take the load off the main chain, the better. I think it also brings legitimacy to that space.

How many "I wanna start with Bitcoin" chats you had recently and what wallet+exchange you recommended and why?

    Posted: 29 Apr 2020 04:32 AM PDT

I had like 4 chats with friends and recommended Bitbay as exchange (because it has good connection to Polish banking system and fast payout) and Bitcoin core as this is wallet as it is intended to be but you need to have fully sync blockchain that I am always mentioning.

Blox - New Game about Bitcoin

Good news Bitcoin Redditors, we have 1 more game about Bitcoin!

In Blox you need to build towers (there are several types of them), kill enemies and collect your block rewards.

You need to protect your blockchains, your resources (such as CPU, RAM) and the enemies are simulations of the real threats which infrastructure face -bugs, DDos attacks, Double-spend attacks, etc. For the new blockchain adopters and not tech-savvy people this game really provides an educational basic introduction to the crypto world.

This way game-players can discover the history of Bitcoin and other blockchains.

My detailed article with screenshots: https://cryptotexty.io/blox/

PSA : NEVER EVER SELL BITCOINS with PAYPAL (F&F too)!!!

PSA : NEVER EVER SELL BITCOINS with PAYPAL (F&F too)!!!

Last year, I wanted a little discount when buying electronics and sold my Bitcoins for Paypal F&F. I received the Paypal money at an discounted price and bought the electronics successfully.

    https://preview.redd.it/jcuo5l5w7pv41.png?width=789&format=png&auto=webp&s=02755ac2e12c7434c10199e098e2613544cb29f8

However, After 2 weeks, the buyer opened up a chargeback case on me. Paypal asked me for clarification, and I sent my Paxful invoice, chat logs and the screenshot from the scammer confirming that he sent the money through Paypal.

However, I lost the case after 90 days and Paypal just closed the case without notifying me in any ways. I noticed that when it was too late. Now I am stuck with paying the money the scammer had scammed elsewhere. I requested Paypal for the clarification about the case and information about the buyer to open up a police report on him, but I got no answer back from them.

Remember, even the Friends and Family (F&F) payment on Paypal is NOT SAFE! The buyer confirmed me that he was sending money through Paypal F&F and it was true. Yet, he was able to issue a chargeback and take back his money claiming it was an "Unauthorized Payment". If the F&F payment is issued through card, the buyer can chargeback you whenever he wants claiming it was "Unauthorized".

NEVER EVER Sell your Bitcoin through Paypal.

If the buyer has malicious intent, he could abuse the Paypal's system anyway he likes. Paypal will just sit around and give him free pass even though there is an ample evidence supporting the seller.

P.S. F&F does not have buyer protection which means the buyer cannot open up refunds or chargeback easily like the transaction with an invoice. (Except for unauthorized transaction like in my case.) Paypal normally does not classify Cryptocurrency trade under "intangible goods" seller proctection, so transaction with an invoice would not made much difference.
