Binance accidentally took 12061,48 and won’t give it back!

    Posted: 28 Apr 2020 06:20 PM PDT

background on the 28th of January I happend to be trading on the futures platform. Due to a mistake by binance my orders weren't executed and I was liquidated.

Well I opened a ticket demanding back my funds. After a couple months of mails every 2 or 3 days. Binance denied everything and weren't giving back the money, so I opened another ticket. This time I didn't ask for a refund up front. Binance straight up told me it was their mistake and that they would compensate me 3bnb. Well I didn't take that well, so I asked for my full amount back.

Binance went in to a defensive mode and decided mixing up different cases would settle the issue. (Binance had messed up again and I lost 3600 USDT, so they compensated me 1018 USDT) they told me they had already compensated me and that I shouldn't ask for more. When I called them out on the fact that the cases weren't related, they told me they weren't going to give me the 12061.48 USDT back anyway.

I pointed out that by admitting their mistake in this ticket they broke their own policy. It states that Binance has to execute a trade. After I mentioned this they went silent, I have bugged support every 2 days, but I have not received anything as of yet and it has been almost a month.

I wanted more people to know as Binance is the biggest in the industry, and they bury the negative very easily. I need your help in demanding an answer for Binance her mistakes.

My ticket number is 2618472 My case handler was mainly CS Paul

Tether conspiracy is the anti-vaxx 5G movement of crypto - change my mind

    Posted: 29 Apr 2020 05:35 AM PDT

    A few easy points:

    • Small crypto kiddies that have read about it on cointelegraph think they discovered a scam and are "in the know" and protesting as a rebellious movement
    • People keep parroting about new minting without understanding how the system works. the same people that can't understand how usd/euro issuance works and think when banks print money it's the devil
    • these kids have no idea that Tether also burns, that's oblivious to them
    • Tether has been around for years, been in courts, found nothing and even couldn't judge them.
    • 3 federal judges signed a clean bill some years ago
    • All big exchanges using Tether need to be imbeciles to keep using it if that was a scam
    • Biggest bank in NL has accounts with them, very regulated

[Help] Dynamic(?) stop loss on kraken?

    Posted: 29 Apr 2020 05:45 AM PDT

Hey, I am new to crypto and trading, and I was wondering if it's possible to set a "dynamic" stop loss at kraken.com.

I've set up a standard stop loss @ -10% of current price, thinking it would dynamically adjust up if the price increases. But it's just a fixed amount. Is it possible to do that somehow, or do I have to login daily and readjust the stop loss value myself?

EDIT: As far as I know this is a trailing stop, but the option is missing on kraken?

Surge in Nxt, Ardor Nodes After Launch of New Incentive Program

LTO Network upgrade passed network vote. New transaction type will be introduced in mainnet upgrade.

    Posted: 29 Apr 2020 04:23 AM PDT

LTO Nodes succesfully approved the suggested mainnet upgrade, introducing a new transaction type called 'Associations'.

    In short:

    ------

An association transaction marks an acknowlegement from one addresses to another. This isn't the first transaction type to establish an acknowlegement on LTO Network. A lease transaction acknowledges that a node may use the tokens of the address for staking.

Associations, on the other hand, have no effect on the consensus layer of the blockchain. They purely exists for validation by off-chain applications.

Organizations can use associations to acknowledge that the holder of an address is an employee. Diplomas and certificates could also be acknowledged through an association.

    ------

One small example: Imagine a worldwide validation system to secure your achieved degree in science, healthcare or dentistry. Those people that wish to relocate to a different country (or perhaps even have to flee) would be able to proof their level of skill, allowing them to easier find a job at their schooled level. Validating their diploma without having personal information being displayed on the blockchain.

There will be many more implementations. Very exciting for the potential growth of LTO Network.

    More information here:

    https://blog.ltonetwork.com/new-transaction-type-associations/

Note: After a nice growth in 2019/2020 LTO Network currently ranks number 22nd on blocktivity.info. LTO has non-inflationary staking with a large part of the total supply locked forever in company dedicated wallets. Current circulating supply: 229M (of which 25% staked in nodes). Total Supply: 453M tokens, minus 50M which is locked forever to have network participation, minus 80M for Market & Aquisition wallet that will never be liquid on the market. This means Max Circulating Supply is around 320M LTO. Current circulation supply is over 66% of this number.

Buying Bitcoin with Dollars as a UK citizen

    Posted: 29 Apr 2020 03:59 AM PDT

Hello, my friend has sold his holiday home in the US and received payment to his US bank account. He is NOT a US citizen, however. It's taking an absolute age for his $ to be converted to his home country £. Now, he wants to buy some BTC. What are his options? Is he able to use US crypto exchanges fairly easily? I use Bittylicious in the UK myself, so something similar to that would be great.
