GPU Mining inherited a btc motherboard with 2 risers and 2 1080 video cards with Linux Ubuntu installed. What apps can I use to mine for btc in a shared pool? |
Posted: 14 Dec 2019 08:00 AM PST I don't want to install Windows 10 and run nicehash. I want a true linux with cgminer or some other software that runs taking advantage of the GPU. Anyone run this combination? Please share what you use . I do not want to hear about how its not valuable or your wasting electricity or some other stupid excuse to just buy it. I want to mine on a shared pool to test out some custom built board and video card combo for research purposes. Its a project for EE and was given the install and build the project. Just looking or insights or custom setups you need. [link] [comments] |
should I upgrade the drivers for my R9 380? Posted: 14 Dec 2019 05:31 AM PST Like the title says, right now Im running catalyst drivers but the latest version is Adrenalin. Should I upgrade or just leave it as it is? If this card was still used for gaming I would have upgrade it to the latest drivers already but since it's mining now, I wonder if I should just leave it as it is. TIA [link] [comments] |
