I had forgotten all about this until I was pinged in the daily thread to ask if he ever paid up. - https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/e8z5s5/daily_discussion_december_11_2019_gmt0/fagiqnm/

Even then I was mostly whatever about it and had zero interest in pursuing it, I just thought someone running their mouth on reddit.

But he seems to have made an alt account and is trolling anyone calling him out on his shittiness, so I guess he's pushed me to reveal our full DMs on this.

Here was the initial offer he made:

You'll see I said I'd take up that bet and we can discuss the escrow etc in DM.

Anyway, here is the full DM chain (me in pink, him in blue)

German Solarisbank launches Bitcoin custody business The Berlin institute wants to be one of the first German banks to store crypto currencies.

    Posted: 11 Dec 2019 07:17 AM PST

The new German Money Laundering Act, which regulates the safekeeping of crypto currencies in a legally secure manner, has barely come into force when interested banks venture out of cover.

The Berlin Solarisbank is one of the first German banks to take the offensive and planning to build up a cryptocurrency custody solution, as the Handelsblatt has learned in advance. The plans are to be officially announced on Wednesday.

The new money laundering law allows banks to offer and keep crypto currencies. From 2020, financial institutions will be able to offer their customers crypto currencies as well as traditional securities such as shares and bonds in legally secure online banking at the touch of a button.

For this purpose, Solarisbank has founded the subsidiary Solaris Digital Assets. In 2020, it will apply to the financial supervisory authority Bafin for one of the newly introduced crypto custody licenses and will then store Bitcoin and other virtual currencies on behalf of customers.

Bitcoin exposure via stock or ETF?

    Posted: 12 Dec 2019 01:29 AM PST

I'm a bit lazy and don't feel like setting up an account and wallet to buy actual bitcoins. Additionally, I rather have the protections from a brokerage firm and the SEC rather than the protections of a crypto exchange, which I believe get hacked more easily and frequently. Is there a stock or ETF that can provide solely bitcoin exposure?

I'm aware of GBTC, is there anything better than that? By my back of the envelope calcs, GBTC trades at a ~24% premium to BTC.

    Thanks in advance

    Understanding Ethereum staking deposits

It simply isn't true that if BTC falls below 6.5K that there isn't significant support. Prior Volume (Speaking of VPVR) does not guarantee future results. If it did, then we would not be hanging on at 7K.

    Posted: 12 Dec 2019 12:26 AM PST

Everyone always says the past doesn't predict the future, and likewise, the scare of the "gap" in support in volume price action below 6.5K doesn't mean anything really. its just a perception held by many, but the many doesn't necessarily correlate with mass money, since a few institutions can buy it up big time.

Im not claiming moon boy or anything, im just saying its not true what they say about "no support below this level".
