A quick reminder why Bitcoin was invented in the first place. Everyone used to be on the same page, but it's hard to tell anymore. TL;DR: To get free, not rich.

How do I convince my customers to pay with bitcoin?

    Posted: 13 Dec 2019 03:43 AM PST

    Hi guys,

I am currently running a website which accepts payment through bitcoin. I have had some issues finding payment processors therefore I am using bitcoin to accept payments. However, due to the long procedure associated with buying bitcoins, a lot of people are put off from purchasing through my store. As a result, my conversion rates are really being hit badly.

Is there a way how I can make paying by bitcoin less tedious? The process for buying bitcoins seems really long for most as they need to sign up, verify, wait etc which is quite long. I offer a discount on my website if paid through bitcoin but im struggling to think of anything else.

I was currently making a tutorial on how one can pay on the site and was thinking of using exchanges such as switchere.com or moon.io where customers can buy bitcoins without verification. They can then send them directly to my bitcoin address. However, these exchanges have really high fees.
