MPX is a decentralized derivatives exchange launched on the Rinkeby Testnet, that allows its users to short any crypto asset, or use any ERC20 token as collateral and hedge it against a stablecoin or an off-chain asset like S&P 500 or GOLD in order to hedge holdings against corrections and volatility. As an investor in the long run, I don't mind the corrections, but I would still love to have a chance to protect, and why not even profit in a bear market as long as this one. I for one think we don't need another institutional product like futures on NASDAQ or anywhere else, but rather a marketplace where the traders are building liquidity with no need to trust anyone with your token custody or trade settlement since all of that relies upon the blockchain.

The cool part about this dApp is that it's released not for the purpose of token distribution (ICO), but primarily so that the they can collect as much feedback as possible in order to provide the best user experience for when they launch on mainnet, as per their dev team and social media.

For the sake of disclaimer, I've been a long term supporter of these guys and their project, since they have a great background in trading futures on traditional markets, and I'm sure they know what's wrong about them since they decided to build a decentralized product.
