[Altcoin Discussion] Thursday, September 27, 2018

    Posted: 26 Sep 2018 09:06 PM PDT

Thread topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Discussion related to recent events
    • Technical analysis, trading ideas & strategies
    • General questions about altcoins

    Thread guidelines:

    • Be excellent to each other.
    • All regular rules for this subreddit apply, except for number 2. This, and only this, thread is exempt from the requirement that all discussion must relate to bitcoin trading.
    • This is for high quality discussion of altcoins. All shilling or obvious pumping/dumping behavior will result in an immediate one day ban. This is your only warning.
    • No discussion about specific ICOs. Established coins only.

If you're not sure what kind of discussion belongs in this thread, here are some example posts. News, TA, and sentiment analysis are great, too.

Poloniex support team is awful! ...Here is a link to 4 printscreens of my tickets

    Posted: 26 Sep 2018 03:44 PM PDT

I have been a legacy user with 2000$ withdrawal limit... Afterall Poloniex froze my account without a chance to withdraw... I want to notice I made my intentions clear before deadline (Circle issue)...

Poloniex ignored their promises, their official statements, their art.17 of User Agreement.. And now they are ignoring me as their customer... So awfully inequitable situation it is...

Dear users, good ones, help me please to spread the word...

    BitMEX fat finger/order protection?

    Posted: 26 Sep 2018 06:14 PM PDT

    Two questions:

    1) if btc is at 6500 and I want to punch in a limit buy for 6400 but accidentally hit 6700 instead and submit will it actually fill for the mistaken price or fill for the next ask on the books?

    2) coming from bitfinex, if I was every in a position and wanted to quickly get out I would simply drag the limit order/stop (on the chart) into the current candle and it would market execute quickly. Does it work like this on BitMEX too?
