Posted: 05 Mar 2019 01:58 PM PST Look what I've got. A bitcoin cash SLP torch. https://explorer.bitcoin.com/bch/tx/36291b8a65a848338daa94f009d21abccfa1343698754e4407258519a4ed7c0c There is only 1 of these and it can not be divided. Who wants it? Edit: For the first handing over of the torch and to allow this post to gain some momentum - just for some fun - a competition. No one is going to know the answer to this question so it will randomise the winner and I might need to provide some clues as it goes on. So. What is my favourite Satoshi Nakamoto quote. And just to show there's no cheating the sha256 hash is aba9875ee01f2c82c3b8021be53c3e9802331acb645261771583fa5338426626. Trolls need not apply. Edit 2: Good guesses, but the quote I'm thinking of is a little longer than what has been guessed so far. Clue 1: It's a description of bitcoin. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 06 Mar 2019 01:54 AM PST Wow, just wow. Had a "conversation" with troll /u/57334 last night. This guy is here for 1 reason and in his own words " I am here to shit on your shitfork, correct." The conversation started when I made this comment, "I received one of those tippin LN tips. Wasted far to much of my life trying to remove it from the bot into a LN wallet that actually had the most basic function of being able to receive LN and then into a proper BTC wallet. Gave up in the end. If you want to use BTC then go ahead, save yourself a huge headache and use it as it was intended, onchain. But the decentralised central authority don't want you to do that...." He then started his bullshit, first claiming his BCH wallet lacking " the most basic function of being able to exchange bcash into a proper BTC coin" was the equivalent of a LN wallet (éclair) not having the basic function of being able to receive LN. He then goes on about it not being worth him withdrawing a BCH tip because of fees lol I go on to ask him if éclair wasn't the right choice of mobile wallet " So, out of interest which mobile non custodial wallet should I have used?" He tells me to DYOR and links me to https://lightningnetworkstores.com/wallets where it seems they conveniently miss out the details on the wallets ability to actually receive LN, very helpful. He also says he uses zeus (it's not even on the list). I ask him again, "help a dude out, be friendly, pretend I'm new to btc and just received a LN tippin tip, Which android mobile wallet available on Google play is the wallet I need so I can withdraw the tip and either spend the LN or more importantly convert it to BTC?" (I ask him for a wallet available from Google play as the zeus wallet he linked me too was on github, and call me old fashioned but I like to install android apps from the play store rather than github, especially financial ones!) But, wow! I'm moving the goalposts! Asking for a android app from Google play store! "Did you ask for a play store app in the original post or did you narrow your criteria more and more as our conversation went on and I gave you more and more information? In your OP you said you gave up on trying to claim the tip, but then later you said a BTC user helped you swap it out for BTC on chain. Did you lie about what happened in the OP when you said you gave up or did you lie where you said you were able to get the funds?" OK so now I'm a lier. I post a link to the reddit comment where I tipped the LN I had received, to the nice guy BTC supporter who had offered to help and convert it to BTC around a month or so ago. (worth noting here I said" here is a link to where I found a recent post of his on /r/Bitcoin (knowing the tippin thing only worked on /r/Bitcoin) " Well dam lol! I'm a lier again because "Tippin.me works outside of /r/bitcoin. Tippin is used heavily on twitter." More bullshit and then I'm a lier again because "Oh so you lied about giving up about getting the LN off tippin, as you were able to find a solution to get the BTC on chain. You flat out didnt "give up", you converted a LN tip into BTC." So there it is lol! The solution to getting your LN tip off tippin.Me is find a "nice" BTC supporter rathen than a asshole like /u/r 57334 who will be kind enough to just send you a onchain transaction ha ha! The whole conversation can be read here. [link] [comments] |
