- Everything wrong with the BTC community in one slide.
- BCH dev found the recent Core bug, but this cult member credits Core: "The Core devs are the best devs in this space. There are other chains that have this same problem because they forked from Bitcoin, and the devs of those chains didn't find this issue, it was the Core devs that found it" @7m58s
- The incompetency of BCore continues. They have still not sent out details of last weeks huge security (bug) issue to their security mailing list... but "One Meg Greg" says he did. Cobra and Luke-JR and others say he didn't... drama continues :D
- The Bitcoin Core twitter trolls have teamed up to form The B Foundation
- "Looking at these points, and how universally they seem to be accepted in the Bitcoin community, I can't help but think they've transitioned from 'maximalist' to 'supremacist'."
- Can we make /u/chaintip a little more reliable? This is getting incredibly annoying.
- The Vote bots on this forum are seriously becoming a major problem.... When well meaning, and simple pro-big blocker comments are downvoted into the negatives, it's more than clear. We need a solution.
- Powerful words from Mike Maloney: "I would like to encourage all of your viewers to start using the free market cryptos [like Bitcoin Cash] in transactions...There's a very small window here...Its about how its going to change the world..Its the difference between freedom and enslavement." @14m21s

- Core doesn't follow Satoshi's Vision. Bitusher last year: "It doesn't matter Greg. If Satoshi came back today and said he preferred Bitcoin classic 2MB HF over segwit SF, I would tell him to fuck off. This cult of satoshi is sick and has to die. We should call out satoshi lemmings where we see them"
- LOL. This is BCore's answer to memo.cash.... yep only a Coreon would actually pay BTC over the LN (or otherwise) to create a entry in a controlled centralized database.... so it's nothing like memo.cash (uncensorable & decentralized) then and is actually dumbest idea ever...
- I don't think this is said enough: thanks to awemany for reporting the BTC vulnerability responsibly - BTC Dev, Wladimir Laan
- Just Notarised Rental Condition Photos to BCH blockchain with Bitcoin.com!
- The Edge Wallet now has BIP 70 support for BCH. Now you can pay BitPay invoices directly :)
- Bitcoin Core is doing a hard fork bug fix for their recent inflation bug. The fact that they are not bundling in a blocksize limit upgrade with this fork shows that they probably never will have blocksize limit upgrades on the Core chain. BCH is the only Bitcoin that can scale and reach worldwide.

Can we make /u/chaintip a little more reliable? This is getting incredibly annoying. Posted: 23 Sep 2018 10:03 PM PDT /u/chaintip is like the police, when you really need it, it's not there. /u/tibanne what does this community need to provide you with to make chaintip more reliable? Posted: 23 Sep 2018 05:14 PM PDT Sure we can all migrate to memo.cash and other platforms that require one to actually be a BCH holder to use, but we still need to be here also. This sub is very much a gateway to many new BCH enthusiasts or those still doing their research. Migrating away from this forum will hurt us. I think we need to maintain our interest of this sub even if we have moved elsewhere, and work to collectively upvote and downvote on content you agree or disagree on. The only way I know to fight vote bots is with man-power... in numbers. But if anyone has suggestions. All ears... [link] [comments]

...was I just shadow banned from /r/Bitcoin ? Posted: 23 Sep 2018 06:06 PM PDT I replied to /u/theymos , regarding the bitcoin core client's RPC command: My question/reply revolved around whether or not that would do anything other than stall the node, since the It appears my comment does not show up in incognito. Curious if anyone else can see my comment or if I was shadow banned long ago... If I was actually shadowbanned, then I'm a bit more than miffed. I'm genuinely asking about the behavior of the protocol to make sure my logic in Bitcoin Verde's implementation is correct. Cool. EDIT: The comment chain I'm referring to: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/9hkoo6/new_info_escalates_importance_upgrading_to_0163/e6d4u9q/ EDIT 2: /u/theymos : Thanks for the reply EDIT 3: ...okay. What is happening here? My first reply to theymos is showing up (presumably because he himself has replied), but now my 2nd reply isn't showing up? I'm either still shadowbanned and theymos is individually approving my posts, or any reply to a moderator must be approved first before being shown, or there's a massive delay between posting and being visible to others. I'd like to believe it's the lattermost scenario, but that feels naive given the subreddit's reputation. EDIT 4: My most recent reply is now showing up. Great. I have no idea what is going on or if I'm actually shadowbanned. Regardless, I don't care anymore; I have more important things to do than investigate. [link] [comments]

Posted: 23 Sep 2018 07:06 PM PDT Note: Bitcoin refers to Bitcoin Cash (the protocol), Bitcoin Cash refers to BCH Fact: There is no other means of file storage that is as safe as Bitcoin. Fact: If Bitcoin Cash doesn't have increased transaction numbers in one and a half year from now when the halvening happens, Bitcoin will die a slow and and horrible death as all of our miners end up leaving us and Bitcoin will be a failed social experiment gone wrong. This will be the case 100% with BTC if they continue to pursue their dream of off-chain scaling in favor of on-chain. Fact: Storing files, documents and messages on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain is the only short-term (pre-global adoption) way we can solve the aforementioned issue by subsidizing block reward with fees, without increasing the fees above 1sat/b. Fact: If we want books and documents to survive on the internet for future generations to see, we need to be able to archive them safely and decentralized. With Bitcoin, if you want to remove one transaction, you have to invalidate all blocks after that. It's either we allow everything or we allow nothing. With the current climate being what it is, we cannot rely on servers and domain name providers to protect us. I could go on, but I'm fairly certain the people posting things like are either paid Blockstream or CIA operatives. Just don't want normal bitcoin cash users to start believing in their regressive ideas like they have successfully done with Bitcoin-BTC. This is the only way to go forward, and although some of you might not like it, right now it is the only way to maintain miner profitability irregardless of the price per Bitcoin in one and a half year from now. Edit: If you have any contrary opinions or questions to what I stated here, feel free to reply and we can talk about it. [link] [comments]

Just Notarised Rental Condition Photos to BCH blockchain with Bitcoin.com! Posted: 23 Sep 2018 08:19 PM PDT Just entered into a new rental agreement and had to take photos of existing damage/scuffs on the property so I don't get into a dispute later over the bond. I decided to use the Bitcoin.com notary service: https://notary.bitcoin.com/ and it was super easy. All I had to do was select the file and send 2 cents of BCH to a QR code. It then gave me the transaction id and a link to the transaction in the block explorer with the document hash in the op_return output. Very easy to use and verify the document! I would highly recommend this service to avoid any bond disputes with your rental property. It would also be good for photographing damage on hire cars and similar things. [link] [comments]
