Posted: 29 Jun 2018 02:52 AM PDT Bloomberg has conducted an investigation and analysis into the USDT-USD market on Kraken. Their analysis span "56,000 trades placed on the exchange between May 1 and June 22" and was shared with "New York University Professor Rosa Abrantes-Metz and former Federal Reserve bank examiner Mark Williams". The gist of the analysis is that normal market economics of supply and demand does not appear to apply to the USDT-USD market on Kraken. From the article:
