    ADOPTION: Crowd-buying with your Litecoins

    Posted: 04 Apr 2018 06:22 AM PDT

Crowd-buying marketplace Peddler.com now accepts cryptocurrencies including Litecoin!! There is a special crowd for crypto shoppers, with products range from Nike trainers to Beats headphones and Dyson vacuums. Pretty interesting :) Most of the offers are only shipping in the UK or in Europe I think, but very cool to see the adoption. I love the fact we get more and more applications and real-world use for cryptocurrencies.

    Exciting times!

Litecoin Merchant Directory - please list your businesses

    Posted: 04 Apr 2018 10:07 AM PDT

    Good afternoon folks,

I just launched a directory project attempting to let merchants list themselves if they accept $LTC as a payment option.

    https://www.LitecoinAcceptedHere.org

There are still some things I want to add like geo-location, but currently merchants can upload their information, photos, website link, etc.. into multiple categories.

Since it just launched, there may be some bugs so i'm looking for some merchants that accept Litecoin to give it a shot and give me some feedback if possible.

    Thank you!

I created a litecoin faucet for android

    Posted: 04 Apr 2018 06:09 AM PDT

ES Litecoin Faucet will gradually fill up - quite quickly initially but it will slow down over time - until you make a claim. So the longer you leave it the more you will be able to claim. Minimum 5 minutes between claims.

You can withdraw once you reach the threshold of 0.001 Litecoins (coinbase), 0.002 Ltc (wallets).

We offer withdrawals to coinbase accounts with no fees and withdrawals to personal wallets with a small fees.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.esgames.ltcfaucet

If you wish to ask me anything about the application, please go ahead. AMA

Faucets are a reward system, that dispenses rewards in the form of a cryptocurrency for visitors to claim.

"Bitcoin faucets are a reward system, in the form of a website or app, that dispenses rewards in the form of a satoshi, which is a hundredth of a millionth BTC, for visitors to claim in exchange for completing a captcha or task as described by the website. There are also faucets that dispense alternative cryptocurrencies."

    Something to remember

    Posted: 03 Apr 2018 12:22 PM PDT

It's been a crazy rollercoaster ride for the entire market, litecoin especially these last few months. There seems to be a lot of dissonance in the community lately. I realize that a lot of people had bought near the ATH and have been stressing out during this chaos, It might be hard to stay positive when even if Ltc doubled in value you might still be down. What I want people to remember is even those who bought at <50 had to deal with this. Last year litecoin was at a few dollars, it "seemed" to peak around $50 then dropped backed down for a while. Many people, myself included had to go through the same thing a lot of you are going through right now. The key is to remain calm, be patient, and let the tech and foundation continue to grow and improve. Do I wish I sold at the ATH? Absolutely, but only so I could of bought more LTC during the crash. Since January I've been putting in a portion of my paycheck into litecoin almost every week, and trust me it's been hard to stomach the wild drops, but once we're back at the ATH (and higher) it won't matter whether I bought at 50 or 300. This is a long term investment for me, not a get rich scheme. If that were the case, I would of cashed out $100.

Sorry for rambling, just wanted to share.

Adoption levels will begin to cap if the user experience isn't improved. As bad as Coinbase is, it is the only choice for beginners that makes the process simple enough.
