GPU Mining Getting close to 1 G/h |
- Getting close to 1 G/h
- It sure is nice mining in the colder months
- Could I be getting better Mh on my 1070 and 3070 lhr?
- 1660 ti goes to zero
- Any help would be appreciated, just picked up a 1660, why can't I adjust the fan speed on it?
- Is the Zotac GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Twin Edge OC LHR can't find it in the product description
- Xmas came early! Look how many GPUs my dad bought me!
- Having an issue with flickering lights in home.
- Does anyone know where to buy 4U server cases for GPUs like the Hydra or Rosewill ones?
- What is the optimal voltage pdu for a "240 volt" circuit in a standard US house?

Having an issue with flickering lights in home. Posted: 06 Dec 2021 03:08 PM PST Wondering if anyone else has had anything similar happen. I have noticed the led lights used to light the rooms, in ceiling fans, placed in lamps / closets have an intermittent flicker when mining. This is only on my upstairs outlets / ceiling fans. Very subtle, hard to even notice but it is certainly there. Does this for a few seconds then is solid. Rinse and repeat. If I continue mining on either machine it persists. If I stop mining on both the issue disappears. I have 2 small rigs. One I use for gaming and then mining in its downtime and is downstairs. The other is in the upstairs bedroom which warms it since it is getting colder in Northeast PA. No risers being used, simply the PCIe slots on the existing motherboards. I would assume with the power limits I am using that I am well within the capability of the PSU's but maybe I am missing something. I'd assume I am pulling something around ~7-800W max with both systems combined but I have not actually measured from the wall. Just looking for any input or something silly I am missing. Any safety issue to continue mining? I did a visual inspection of what I could coming from the breaker box, following power lines in my basement for something visibly wrong and could not identify anything, I am no electrician though. System are: 5600x 3080 ti Super Flower Leadex III 850W Gold The other is strictly mining 24/7. 7700k 3070 3080 Fractal Design Ion+ 860P Platinum Power limit on 3070 set to 60% 3080 and 3080 ti is 65% while mining. I appreciate any help. [link] [comments]
Does anyone know where to buy 4U server cases for GPUs like the Hydra or Rosewill ones? Posted: 05 Dec 2021 11:47 PM PST It seems to be out of stock everywhere, but it is just a piece of steel. I know that there is shortage even for iron ore, but a case is way more easy to produce than a GPU. Only EU, thank you [link] [comments]
What is the optimal voltage pdu for a "240 volt" circuit in a standard US house? Posted: 05 Dec 2021 08:31 PM PST In a standard 5 year old US house, I am planning to have a single phase "240 volt 30amp" line installed by an electrician to run multiple rigs on one 1 circuit I understand i need a pdu and I am searching APC brand. 150+ of their models are 200, 208, or 230v input. Would any of these work in my case? There are only 4 models listed at 240v input, why so few, am I missing something? Should I ask the electrician for a different type of circuit? Also is there a preferred plug/outlet receptacle type for miners?, I saw nema L6-30p as a possible option. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
