We're talking about 3 seconds of volatility risk when using $XRP for cross-border payments. The reality is you're exposed to more volatility when doing a traditional transfer with fiat currencies that takes several days. -@bgarlinghouseon stage at #M2020Asia

A travel site in Korea that can accommodate more than 50,000 hotels and lodging facilities, has partnered with Bithumb, the largest virtual currency trading company in Korea, to offer 12 kinds of virtual currencies, including Ripple XRP.

First digital marketing agency to accept XRP as primary payment method

    Posted: 14 Mar 2018 08:21 AM PDT

We believe we are the first digital marketing / SEO agency in the UK or Europe to accept XRP as a primary method of payment.

Happy to answer any questions in this thread regarding why, how, etc - and you might find the answer on this new page on our site:

    https://www.searchcandy.uk/we-accept-ripple-xrp/

    TL;DR:

PayPal is one of the primary payment methods of payment in the SEO industry, and we lose a % of our income every month to PayPal & credit card fees.

International clients also frequently have to deal with currency conversions when they pay us, and vice versa.

We want to encourage the SEO industry to adopt a fast, low fee alternative to PayPal.

So the benefits for us as a business are:

    • Less money lost to fees
    • Our clients save money
    • We may attract additional business due to offering XRP as a payment method

If you have any questions, if you want to accept XRP as a payment method for your business, find out more about us, or anything else, ask away below.

    Edit/Update:

It seems I made the fatal crypto mistake of thinking small. Lots of other agency owners have already expressed interest and it has barely been an hour.

How do we think big here guys?

A network of agencies and freelancers that accept XRP?

Eventually companies will not say no to ripple.

    Posted: 14 Mar 2018 04:10 PM PDT

There will be a point, I think the adoption from multiple household names with real time use where other companies cannot say no or ummm and ahhhh around ripple. Let's say it's the early days of cards. All the stores on your street use cash and only cash. Then one day one store starts using this new eft machine. You have doubt around it. next a few more stores do. Before you know it, you almost cannot survive without it.

I am in a 5/10 year hold. This is not going to make you rich quick.

In 2018 it should not take 24 to 48 hours to transfer funds from one bank to another in Australia. It shouldn't take so much time for money to appear in your account From pay pal. That's why I invested I saw a real life problem being solved right before me. The banks know this and much like the stores on the street using cards, it will only take a matter of time.

    The product is there

    The product works

Already backed by major financial institutions in trial phases

EFT eBay Amazon Spotify Apple PayPal Air b n b Expedia Domain Google

All these companies or products have a real time use applicable to everyday life. Some also cut out the middle man and streamline a service . This is exactly what ripple is. It also could be used on all of those platforms.

How do I adopt XRP in my startup

    Posted: 14 Mar 2018 10:19 AM PDT

It's quite simple really. Ever since I read that the guys at Ripple will be investing in startups that would adopt XRP, I've been psyched. The problem is, their website doesn't have a developers page that would allow startups to begin integrating XRP into their systems. I'm sure tweeting out to them isn't going to help either. You guys have any ideas on how, as an entrepreneur, I could get on this opportunity?

    Bold prediction

    Posted: 14 Mar 2018 07:33 PM PDT

BTC will crash (for real), cyrpto prices will decrease massively, XRP will be on massive discount, Ripple/XRP will rise from the ashes and dominate.

We may need more patience than we anticipate.

Prepare to buy at the dip.

A message to everyone freaking out and selling at a loss right now

    Posted: 14 Mar 2018 08:31 PM PDT

Does anyone remember what 2008 was like? Does anyone remember hearing about 401k acounts losing insane amounts of value? How many people freaked out and withdrew everything from their accounts back then? If they would have just waited it out, they would have earned their funds back and some.

Have some perspective. Selling at a loss at a time where the market is finally consolodating is a bad call. The legitamite currencies will still be around when the dust settles. If you invested for the right reason, you should not be scared. It is why I chose to sink my money in XRP over Bitcoin. I believe this company will survive and XRP will come out leading the pack.

Seeking honest, reasoned opinion. Is crypto dead?

    Posted: 14 Mar 2018 04:11 PM PDT

So I really want to understand what is going on. Without FUD or ramping can someone explain what is happening here? I was foolish not to sell at the height because I wanted to wait 12 months to get the capital gains discount we have here. Now I am wiped out. Done. Obviously I won't sell as it's now worthless but is Crypto done?

I look in r/bitcoin and there is so much false hope and delusion going on in there. I know XRP has a use case (an excellent use case) but right now it means nothing.

In your honest and reasoned opinion, will XRP come back? Will we ever go back to the high of Dec/Jan?

What is stopping governments from creating a Ripple clone?

    Posted: 14 Mar 2018 06:51 PM PDT

Really what i am wondering is.. Is it possible that swift or any bank in general really could just create a clone of ripples technology and also their own crypto and just uses that without using ripple they could just back the price with any fiat currency like the euro and ripple would be dead right ? Am i wrong in thinking this? Does Ripple have or own parents on their technology? Are banks/govs already doing this? Just would like some honest info that's all

    XRP as a Purchase option

    Posted: 14 Mar 2018 08:41 AM PDT

Anyone know of a compiled list of places that accept XRP as a payment? I've seen one or two people with webstores selling Ripple/XRP gear and novelties but I'm wondering if anyone has an updated list of places all compiled in one place with links?

Something like the "zerpening" website I saw yesterday would be a perfect fit for a list like this. Maybe not on the homepage but possibly a link dedicated to store front. If anyone knows the persons handle and can page them that would be cool too! Maybe they can add something like this.
