Final Thoughts on Kenneth Asare Posted: 17 Mar 2018 06:53 PM PDT I understand there are a lot of people that are upset with Litepay, and a lot that don't want to talk about it anymore. This isn't about its failure as much as it is Kenneth Asare most likely being an exit scammer. One might ask, "Why did he go through all this trouble if he didn't gain anything monetarily, especially from us, his potential clients?" Yes, he didn't get any money from us, but it's extremely likely he got it from investors/VCs which would incentivize him to "work" on this project with a massive scope. The evidence is glaring that he doesn't know what he's doing and that he's showing hardly any effort. I don't need to go through all the examples, but a BIG red flag (apart from the dead links, zendesk, no team, etc.) was that when registration FINALLY started (and at 9PM??), his website had an entire page dedicated to just a single sentence saying "email us"... What?!? That's it? His dodgy website, shitshow AMA, minimal communication/updates, not to mention no reviews of LitePay yet from businesses for payment processing (Which is very important to me), I'm thoroughly convinced that this man is a scam artist that most likely convinced VCs to invest in him, he'll make it look like he's working (website, interviews, etc.), and run off with the money, which happens more often than you think. And how else would he have been able to support himself if he didn't have investments? He claims to have a "team," and this is certainly a full time endeavour. This isn't something that requires zero capital. There's also hardly any information on this guy, except that he ran a company called "Education Tools International" which may or may not be defunct, especially given that their website has zero information on it (surprise surprise): edtool.co Yes, this is another thread about this guy, but I want to hold him accountable for his extremely shifty behavior that mirrors that of scam artists to me. If I'm crazy for thinking this, please tell me where the logic is wrong. P.S. I emailed him to sign up my business for LitePay and no response unsurprisingly. EDIT: Please do look at edtool.co to see the striking similarities between that website and Litepay's website (i.e. nothing of much substance). [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Mar 2018 08:52 AM PDT I've sent LTC back and forth (the same amount, same sending/receiving address) to this address: LPdQLpPnX9J4Wv6SXni45jbNzCKd3YYeay. Any chance I can identify the address of the other LTC wallet I've been transacting? Thanks. [link] [comments]
hello guys a crypto enthusiast here! How are various token collateralized on Abra? Posted: 17 Mar 2018 09:39 PM PDT I get that they hold our LTC. Imagine LTC tanked relative to other synthetic pairs on platform, then wouldnt that make them insolvent? Those synthetic pairs would be worth far more LTC. Thx for Eli5 [link] [comments]

Need help for a school work.Help me find argument to motivate businesses to accept crypto Posted: 17 Mar 2018 03:09 PM PDT Hi guys! For my studies I have to create a fake business. I thought of a wallet for businesses that allow them to accept crypto. My professor is a bit septic about all the crypto. He told me that I need to convince him (if I convince him there is great chances to convince someone else). His main problem is the high volatility and the bad press cryptos have (bitconnect and people thinking that cryptos are uses to buy drugs). I am already convinced but I need strong arguments to convince him. One of my idea was to focus on tourists because by buying with cryptos you don't have the fees of change offices or credit cards. Do you guys have ideas? Thank you very much if you want the final paper I can send it to you [link] [comments]
BTC "slightly more secure" than LTC? Posted: 17 Mar 2018 02:48 PM PDT Anybody cares to comment on this quote from Abra site: We believe that Bitcoin will always be slightly more secure than Litecoin due mainly to its smaller block size.....But this small security tradeoff means lower mining fees and more on chain scaling for our users"? Also, I wonder if there was any need for this opinion in the "intro" if the "trade-off" is insignificant? [link] [comments]
The Litepay debacle helped LTC Posted: 17 Mar 2018 07:26 PM PDT The story put this crypto further into the headlines, and now I see Litecoin mentioned first in more articles about currencies. The story was pretty big and more people have now heard of LTC and read into it. I don't know why entirely, but I'm more confident in LTC then when it was at 300. [link] [comments] |
