I'll pay someone .10 ETH to publish a guide for ENSNow and Ledger Nano S

    Posted: 16 Mar 2018 05:55 PM PDT

I'm looking for an easy to follow guide on how to use MEW, ENSNow, and your Ledger Nano S.

I have a few ENS domains I'd like to either Sell, or allow for subdomains but I registered them with my Ledger Nano S and am a bit confused as to how I would easily interact with ENSNow using MEW and my Nano S. I'd rather follow a good guide so I don't run the risk of screwing it up and losing the domain :)

How to prevent fungibility in a decentralized reputation system?

    Posted: 16 Mar 2018 07:21 PM PDT

Imagine we want to take on social sign-on using a decentralized ownership model. As a proof of concept, we build a chrome-plugin that tracks user reputation from various sources around the internet. This could include social sign-on, while also enabling integration with existing smaller reputation providers, such as your local community center, or a local bank branch. We build this system to give users full control/rights over their account data, which is the decentralized aspect. But with user control comes an issue. How do we prevent an attacker from selling their legitimate account to highest bidder on the open market. In this scenario, fungibility of account data is a something we want to design against. Any ideas on how to go about preventing such behavior?

Ethereum blockchain as a real time force directed graph

    Posted: 16 Mar 2018 01:29 PM PDT

    Disclaimer: it's pointless

I was bored and wanted to do something with the d3 library so I came up with this: https://eth-graph.firebaseapp.com/ . It's still in progress so things may break :shrugs:

    • Realtime updates (red play button)
    • Zoom by scrolling the mouse wheel (pinching on mobile)
    • Pan by holding the mouse wheel (dragging on mobile)
    • Click a node (address) or link (tx) to see its details and a link to etherscan
    • Go back in time for up to 25k blocks (for now, although some blocks are missing because the worker process was down)
    • Show up to 10 blocks at the same time (soft limit because I don't like FPS dropping below 60)
    • Tx width as a function of the ETH transferred
    • Addresses radius and color as a function of the ETH transferred

What’s the best educational resource for noobies for all regarding crypto (development, mining, trading) right now?

    Posted: 16 Mar 2018 02:50 AM PDT

I just started to educate myself about crypto in the summer of 2017 (as the most of you I guess). My path was pretty simple: I just tried to explain things by writing posts (using editors, as I'm not a native speaker as you could see ;) ).

Since then all of this transform to full educational website with more than 100k+ monthly users (it has lost some traffic now, as you users become searching less for bitcoin in google).

I see an opportunity to create useful website for all noobies who want to start with a crypto. Now it's a place where you could just start and read some basic terms, career advices, interview with interesting people or select a course from catalog.

Will be appreciate if you could share the best resources that you find useful for noobies. It will be interesting to find something new in this field and maybe get some ideas for my blog.

Address tracker (notifications) by just giving public adress?

    Posted: 16 Mar 2018 09:16 AM PDT

Does anyone know if there is some kind of app out there, where you can track an ethereum address that then sends you a notification every time a new transaction comes into that address? Just like etherscan, but with notifications for a specific address
