BREAKING: there is a pornographic image hidden in the mathematical constant Pi! Call your representative and demand a ban!

    Posted: 22 Mar 2018 05:55 AM PDT

I present you a filthy image of a scientist and a journalist having a doggy-style sex:

     ■□□□□□□ ■□□■■■■ ■■□■□■□ ■□■■□■□

You can encode the image above as 1000000100111111010101011010 in binary, which is 135525722 in decimal.

If you check the decimal sequence using a Pi search engine (for example, on subidiom), you'll find that it appears at the 742,824,792nd decimal digit of Pi.

So, yes, there is a pornographic image hidden in Pi!

Theoretically, you can even find a full-length HD movie in Pi (but you need to know where to search).

So, how it's related to Bitcoin?

If you've missed it, there is currently a new FUD wave about porno hidden in the Bitcoin blockchain. Hundreds of media outlets are reporting about it, including the Telegraph.

The idiots don't understand that you can find porn anywhere, in every single piece of random data - if you search long enough, and use the right encoding.

    UPD:

A lot of researchers in the comments are asking how to get some real porn using the mathematical constant Pi. It's actually quite simple:

    1. Buy several 8TB hard drives (the more - the better)

    2. Fill them with Pi digits (preferably the binary representation of Pi)

    3. Done! You're now a proud owner of some porn!

But can you find an actual porn on those hard drives? Yes!

Do a test: find some picture on the Brazzers site, compress it, and search for it on your Pi-filled hard drives. If you have enough of the drives, you'll find your picture.

So, if you travel with the drives to, say, Saudi Arabia, and the border control searches the drives, they will be able to find actual porn on it, and you'll be arrested as a filthy porn-possessing criminal.

Who would suspect that math could be so dangerous?!

I remember 1year ago we had a bullish run all the way 1.3k and sudenttly the price crashed to 950 it was big a the time i saw my blockchain wallet loose hundreds of dollars I decided to hodl but out ot fear I sold immediatly after recovering. The price kept clibing up i was desperate so I bought back in and sold too early 5btc for 6400$. Since then the price kept clibing lesson learned I justt bought back 6400$ for 2btc and hodeled Im up in profit. It seem that everynew year around this time bitcoin is underperforming and exploding around may june july etc.. another bullrun in few week month is expected. I can see bitcoin up 25k before the end of the year. Bitcoin is only going to get better and there's only 21M coins that will ever exist.

'I sold too early' and 'I didn't buy enough' are 2 phrases I hear all too commonly regarding Bitcoin.

    Posted: 22 Mar 2018 03:50 PM PDT

When's the last time you heard someone regret buying Bitcoin?

Add some more classic Bitcoiner phrases, bonus for some classic no-coiners too.

    Let's have some fun.

HODL for sure... but spend every chance you get.

    Posted: 22 Mar 2018 10:02 AM PDT

The HODL mentality is great, the way the community has embraced it, and explained it to others has likely saved many inexperienced investors from selling at a loss when things have seemed rough.

We need to remember though that at the end of the day bitcoin is a currency, and if we ever want it to reach its full potential, we need to treat it as such.

Bitcoin is meant to be spent as much as it's meant to be saved. I urge you to download a wallet on your smart phone and treat it as your checking account for spending bitcoin. Think of your paper wallet or hardware wallet as your savings account.

It may be hard to do. You'll fret over potentially paying what amounts to $10,000 in the future for a pizza. If we want bitcoin to succeed, it needs to be widely adopted, and as early adopters, its our obligation to help spread it.

If you budget $300 a month for spending money, put $50 in a software wallet on your phone. When you go to the bar, restaurant, craft fair, farmers market, ask if they accept bitcoin. If they don't you'll at least plant the idea in their mind. If they do, I promise your first transaction will feel amazing (and so will the following ones too).

If Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are supposed to be an alternative form of currency then why do people treat it like a stock and sell it for cash? Isn’t it acting more like an asset than it’s own currency?

    Posted: 22 Mar 2018 11:28 AM PDT

Basically the title. Im 100% behind the idea of getting rid of govt backed currency but the way I see bitcoin is more akin to buying stocks and than a whole new form of currency. Is there a bigger picture Im missing? Thanks !
