Peter Schiff client plans to dump 50,000,000 in BTC in 2018

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 11:51 AM PST

Just listened to Peter"s latest podcast and he said himself that a client of his plans this massive dump in 2018 speculating the reasons are to delay the capital gains tax...

I was thinking there's a strong possibility more big time holders of the once used coin of BTC may plan on doing the same thing.

There's a possibility this may take BCH down with it, but on the other hand, there's a possibility many who are also planning to make this move, may see the young BCH, as well as some other attractive coins, with their high probability of immediate adoption, if not as a shorter term investment, and just switch over...

Anybody like to collaborate on that?

I am doing this with the hopes that Bitcoin Cash will become more widespread and help all the developers and BCH lovers out there

    Have fun!

How the hell do I sell BCH on Kraken?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 08:42 AM PST

This site is not user friendly at all. It's like an economics class threw up.

I got the BCH on there. I go to trades and click sell. I put in my whole amount for the market rate and then I get "insufficient funds". I definitely have that money. Is there a fee somewhere that I have to manually calculate?

Coinbase is so much more user friendly than this bullshit, but I'm trying to swap for another coin that it doesn't have.

Command line tool to track Bitcoincash prices

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 09:36 AM PST

I've created a simple command line tool to track crypto prices. To install it open up your terminal and:

    npm install -g moneda-cli

    (node + npm are required)

To use it, you just type:

    moneda BCH

    or

    moneda

You can find more info @ https://www.npmjs.com/package/moneda-cli

Does anyone have any experience with BCH blenders? I think I got scammed...

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 12:46 AM PST

    I used bchblender.com to do 2 separate tx's of ~ 150$ each. The first time I ever that I didn't test first.

The first tx I did was last night. And after I sent the tx I came back to my desktop later and it appeared the destination address changed.

I thought "oh shit...I accidentally sent to the wrong address". I thought I lost my coins forever, but I emailed them at there maybe being a chance.

Then today I was adamant about blending some coins again and that I wouldnt screw up again with the address. Long story short, the same thing happened. And I figured out that I actually did enter the correct address because when I went to click "blend my coins" it gave me the same address I entered before, and then after I sent the coins, the address changed when I refreshed the page.

    I KNEW I WASNT CRAZY!

I chose the option to deposit at a random time (between 5min-6hr). It's been wayyyyy past 6 hours. And if I reload the tx page, it still says "waiting for deposit" and on my BCH wallet it says the tx is confirmed.

Is it possible there is just something going on with their end that will get resolved on the next business day? I looked them up on scamadviser and its apparently only 50 days old, but its based out of the US.

Any way I can get to the bottom of this? Anyone else have a reliable BCH blender I can use?

When exactly was Bitcoin Cash listed on Coinbase?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2018 12:44 PM PST

I'm having trouble pinpointing the exact time. Here's their blog post of the announcement but Medium doesn't show exact time. They even have an update with timestamp at the end but I have no clue about the timezone.

Anyone knows how to extract this info (maybe via other ways such as google cache) or was around and can give an estimate?

    Thanks!

    No comprendé.

I get it, bch is btc 2.0, but what i don't get is why everyone who is holding btc is sticking with their 2009 coin... Why doesn't everyone just jump ship and get x4 their coins by just sliding on over to the 2017 version?

Just thinking out loud. Happy new year mates.

My friends sells an online service. What's the simplest & quickest way for him to Accept / get paid in BCH: 1. Using his android phone; and 2. via online such as Telegram chat, etc. ?

    Posted: 31 Dec 2017 08:51 PM PST

He has ZERO experience accepting any kind of payments online; and no experience with bitcoin or bitcoin cash. Perhaps an android wallet which can generate payment links (which he can send to hist clients & his phone wallet can monitor for) ? Thanks.
