Stop it with the "Thank you litecoin, Thank you Charlie Lee" posts

This sub, possibly more so than others, is prone to people posting how low they bought LTC for and how high they sold it for. I think these posts that focus primarily on the price do more harm than good.

This should be a community focused on changing the way payments are made, not paying your student loans (which most of us don't care about, by the way).

Vitalik from Ethereum said it better:

All crypto communities, ethereum included, should heed these words of warning. Need to differentiate between getting hundreds of billions of dollars of digital paper wealth sloshing around and actually achieving something meaningful for society.

    Please and thank you.

PSA: The new Segwit2x push is a pre-mined pump and dump scam!!!

    Posted: 28 Dec 2017 06:16 AM PST

The Segwit2 fork today has little to do with the original Segwit2 other than recycling the name. It is a pump and dump targeted at the uninformed. Please read up and pass it on!

    The real reason to HODL

    Posted: 28 Dec 2017 11:11 AM PST

When you bought crypto, was it because you thought you couldn't loose? I see a lot of people saying hodl to avoid selling at a loss, but in any investment if you don't believe in it hodling is a bad idea. So my HODLers are you doing it because you are scared to loose? Or are you Hodling because you believe in litecoin?

Just spread the news about LTC on WTAM 1100 in cleveland

    Posted: 27 Dec 2017 05:52 PM PST

A local AM talkshow guy just asked what bitcoin was all about so I called in to give him the low down and of course had to hype up LTC. When he asked how much BTC I owned I told him nearly none but that i got into LTC back under $70.00 and he lost his shit and asked how he can get in on this.

He was really receptive to the whole idea of cryptocurrencies and seemed like he was going to make it a point to talk more about them on his show going forward.

LiteCoins from Coinbase to Ledger Nano S

    Posted: 28 Dec 2017 05:42 AM PST

So I have just gotten my Ledger Nano S and I would like to send my coins to it from Coinbase. I have watched few tutorials e.t.c. regarding the topic. Some have said to transfer coins from Coinbase to GDAX first, then send them over to Ledger Nano S to reduce the fees, is that the correct procedure? Is it worth doing that way?Also..Segwit or Legacy? Watched a video in which someone had tried to send LiteCoins through Segwit, but it didn't work, so he sent it as Legacy. But some say Segwit works?...I'm confused, help me senpai.
