    I still haven't received a $27000 wire reversal after almost 1 month from Coinbase. Help?

    So I wired $27000 to Coinbase on Nov 30, and get a message a couple days later on I believe Dec 2nd saying that the wire was reversed because of a name mismatch. This happened one other time, and the money was returned within 10 days. However, I have now been waiting an absurdly long time since it's Dec 25 now and the money has not been returned to my bank account.

    The money was sent to Coinbase, and I knew beforehand that it may not get accepted because of a name mismatch, so I canceled the bank wire, but around the same time they apparently received the wire and sent the name was mismatched email. So maybe this is part of the problem? They said the funds would be returned to my account within 7 business days.

    The first couple weeks, I wasn't worried, because they said it takes 7 days, so I wasn't stressing it. I seriously am starting to get nervous now. I have tried their customer email support, and have gotten nothing but automated messages. I tried reaching out on Twitter, and have had no one reply to me. I tried reaching out to 6-7 different Coinbase employees' Reddit accounts, and none of them have replied.

    I am calling their bank again on Tuesday, but the last time I called their bank, they said something about how they aren't able to track a wire reversal, just an incoming or outgoing wire.

    I don't know what to do at this point. Please upvote for support.

    I found out by looking at /r/CryptoCurrency after I got home from work. If I knew earlier I could have done something about it. So I decided to build an app to let you subscribe to exchanges and find out when they add or remove currencies. Or subscribe to a specific currency and find out when it is added to or removed from exchanges.

    I know this is going to sound crazy, but bear with me on this one. Here's what we know about John McAfee:

    • Insane
    • Worked in cryptography
    • Into spy shit
    • Ran for President of the US
    • likes fucking around with the internet
    • mysterious life

    Now, with that in mind, let's look at the coins he's pumped the last few days, and let's make a few observations. (Disclosure: I am a moderator at /r/cryptography, so I know my way around secret codes.)

    12/21: Electroneum - Blue logo.

    12/22: Burst - "The only true GREEN coin"

    12/23: Digibyte - Blue and white logo

    12/24: Reddcoin - Most obvious one, tbh. Red is right there in the name

    There's only one possible solution here.

    Blue/Blue and white = Jewish = Hannukah.

    Red/Green = Christian = Christmas

    What's missing? Kwanza. What color should we be looking for? Black.

    Tomorrow's McAfee pump is 100% going to be Black Coin. I am so absolutely sure about this that I have bought $10,000 worth of Black coin tonight and will be selling it tomorrow as soon as Dr. McAfee tweets.

    Now, I absolutely know how crazy this sounds, which is why I'm comfortable sharing it with you. Most of you will dismiss this as the most pathetic pump and dump you've ever seen, which is good, because those of you that see how much fucking sense this makes won't even register a blip on the buys, and tomorrow morning we're all going to be laughing all the way to the bank.

    So earlier this year I borrowed a small amount of money from my grandmother to purchase a car (was tight for cash and she would rather lend me the money than me go into debt). Yesterday I saw her at family dinner and as soon as she walked in the door, she called me over and told me that this month she would like her payment to be in ETH. I was so proud of her for doing her research and being savvy enough to join the revolution!
