Posted: 23 Nov 2017 11:07 PM PST I have three 6 GPU rigs. I just heard about the ausu motherboard that can support 20 GPU's. First of all do any of you have some anecdotal reviews of it? My main question is the title. Could I chain add2psu's between all the PSU's to where one would turn all of them on? Or something to this effect. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Nov 2017 05:02 AM PST I recall back in 2014 mining with a GPU used to be a realistic way to mine several currencies, and several pools were set up to switch between the most profitable one at the time, and converting it into BTC. However I can't find any resources on its current availability since then - any idea what happened to it? If I want to mine with my 280x, am I best off picking my own coin and converting manually? Gtx 1080 is 499 on amazon, worth loading up on? Posted: 23 Nov 2017 09:51 PM PST I'm seeing the 1070 on sale for 399 as well. The 1060 is only $180 but to my understanding it's not fast enough to be worth it. Thoughts on these price points? [link] [comments]

How to disable MSI Afterburner update Posted: 23 Nov 2017 05:04 PM PST Hey guys. I'm looking for some help. I am mining with NVIDIA GTX 1070s and I am using MSI Afterburner. I have had a few gpus mining lower hashrates because if the system restarts (I have automatic restart enabled) sometimes the dialog box to update MSI to the new version comes on and it prevents the system from running. I've read some mixed reviews about updating Afterburner to version 4 with the NVIDIA cards, and I havent had any issues with the version I am running now. Can anyone let me know how I can prevent the update box from even appearing? [link] [comments]
GPU dead after a couple hours??? Posted: 23 Nov 2017 04:02 PM PST I decided to try mining today on my FX8150@4.3GHz and GTX970@1477MHz using NiceHash Everything seemed to be working well for a couple hours, however when I stopped mining and opened chrome it was covered in square artifacts and completely unusable The same happened with Edge when I thought it might just be chrome. I tried dropping my card back to stock settings but this made no difference Can mining for such a short time really kill a card? I'm really annoyed as I thought testing it out for an hour or two would be fine. The temps never went above 68C on the GPU and 44C on the CPU [link] [comments]
Is there a way of finding out if I have Samsung or Micron memory without removing the cooler? Posted: 23 Nov 2017 10:23 AM PST I'm using a mixture of Nvidia 1070's and 1060's and I'm trying to find the limits of each card in terms of OC'ing. Is there a way a way of finding out the RAM manufacturer without having to remove the cooler using software only? Thanks [link] [comments]
