From "Revolutionary" to "Evolutionary" - The Change in Cryptocurrency Narrative

    Posted: 10 Jan 2022 12:19 AM PST

The moment of truth for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has arrived. Thanks to the rapid maturity of the crypto and blockchain spaces over the last few years — coupled with easy access to secure, performant, enterprise-grade solutions — cryptocurrencies and blockchain-powered solutions are now at the forefront of the technological and financial revolutions.

When bitcoin first came around in 2009 up till 2017, it was always BTC and cryptocurrency is "REVOLUTIONARY". And now, the narrative is changing into "EVOLUTIONARY" as huge financial institutions are gradually setting up themselves for the future with the blockchain. At first, we had MicroStrategy and Tesla, before bank giants like Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan, UBS (Union Bank of Switzerland), MasterCard etc, began to add crypto to their portfolio.

Thereafter, NYDIG - a subsidiary of a $10 billion asset management firm, said it would provide crypto buy, hold, and sell services to its clients, and U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo, Silvergate Capital, Signature Bank, and JPMorgan Chase — some of the most recognized names in the financial industry — all began to create or are planning to create and provide their clients with crypto-based products and services; which is exactly what DeFi Enterprise entails.

However, financial institutions continue to have difficulties adopting DeFi due to challenges posed by Security, Governance & Connectivity which is what Unido offers. Unido bridges the gaps between cryptocurrency-powered DeFi and traditional, fiat-based finance.

Two key Unido offerings are Unido Enterprise Platform and Unido Institutional.

Unido Enterprise Platform: Helps enterprises to seamlessly and securely manage their assets. It creates bridge for businesses to integrate into DeFi networks while keeping them compliant with their regulatory needs.

Unido Institutional: A full-stack crypto bank-in-a-box that provides customers with easy access to the crypto banking and provides an accessible bridge for their customers to invest and use cryptocurrency and DeFi seamlessly.

Learn more about the Unido ecosystem here: https://medium.com/unidocore/unidos-enterprise-grade-platform-provides-the-security-scalability-and-interoperability-needed-d1d3ab575b04

What do you think about the change of narrative, what do you think about crypto and DeFi adoption, what do you think about financial institutions in cryptocurrency, what you think about the Unido ecosystem, what did you think about the future of cryptocurrency?

Feel free to share your thoughts.

Is it safe to have savings on USDC staked in crypto.com?

    Posted: 09 Jan 2022 06:12 PM PST

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone uses the earn program as a "savings account" just staking USDC or USDT at 10% APY return in Crypto.com App

I'm thinking about doing that but I'm afraid of losing my money.

Are we covered in case crypto.com gets bankrupt or hacked?

Best practices to keep my account safe besides 2FA, antipishing code and biometrics recognition?

Thank you and have a good one

Cartesi is here to stay! Wonder why it's gaining mainstream attention? This is it!

    Posted: 09 Jan 2022 08:33 AM PST

Up until now, development on blockchain generally has been limited with not enough documentation or tutorials to guide developers on building decentralized applications or even coding highly scalable smart contracts. This limitation is also evident in the global rate of adoption of crypto at large.

These problems are being solved uniquely by Cartesi. As a Layer 2 project, having a combination of Virtual machines, Optimistic roll-ups and side-chains to revolutionize blockchain developments is top tier infrastructure. What makes it even more exciting is the Linux integration on blockchain.

How does Linux OS on blockchain solve any of these issues?

Currently, we do not have enough developers building innovative products in the crypto space which would be useful to global users. Out of the world's developers, only about 0.1% are currently into blockchain development meanwhile we have about 54% of mainstream developers using Linux. The picture is getting clearer now, right? With this OS on blockchain infrastructure from Cartesi, mainstream developers can easily use any of their existing libraries, codes to start building compared to using Ethereum's Solidity. With more developers coming into crypto and more products being developed, crypto adoption is inevitable. Cartesi is well placed for Web 3.0 developments.

Cartesi is gaining more accessibility across decentralized finance and gaming as well. Organizations and individuals are beginning to make use of the token (CTSI) as a mode of payments through NowPayments and integrations with Travala, Chainlink, Polygon and lots more. Other recent developments include the Alpha Release of the Cartesi Rollups and also a showcase of the most anticipated game, the Texas Hodl'em Poker game.

Keynotes: This layer 2 gem offers high scalability reducing heavy computations and transaction costs while guaranteeing privacy within blockchain standards and also being blockchain-agnostic, supporting Polygon, Binance Smart chain, Ethereum and others.

Find out more through these channels; Cartesi's Website, Twitter page

As a result of the NFT bull cycle. I've been asking myself the same question over and over: will there be more high-end projects like Bayc, or even higher than that

    Posted: 09 Jan 2022 11:04 PM PST

There are pretty much the blue-chips of NFTs right now that still have great future according to me. some of them to consider are

Right now, there are pretty much the blue-chips of NFTs that, in my opinion, still have a bright future. Here are a few to think about:

Mutant Apes: Mutant Apes are the second generation of Bored Apes, and they have also grown in popularity despite their small floor.

Doodles: Doodles is a relatively new collection, but it has consistently remained in the Top 10 for the past month, even during the bear cycle: a minimum price

While the price of mutant apes and doodles may appear to be higher, this is due to the fact that they have already established themselves in the market. So another NFT I think has a potential is Polyverse it is a collection of 11 001 unique Polyverse NFTs Launched on the Ethereum blockchain., which I believe has potential as it was created in an art space by a well-known artist. This could be a good time to buy at current levels because the future looks promising based on the current road

In addition to monetary value, good NFT projects can provide you with other benefits.

    Posted: 09 Jan 2022 10:57 PM PST

In addition to monetary value, good NFT projects can provide you with other benefits.

Perhaps in the future, we will be giving NFTs as gifts on various occasions. You can get these NFTs by buying them, earning them, or receiving them as a gift. With AXIES, some of them are already doing so. Players can level up their NFTs and resell them in a marketplace in some ways.

You are not only gaining an asset but also earning money for your time. With projects like Futurent, you can now buy fractional real estate NFTs and earn passive income through a revenue share system. Also, there are a number of other projects where we will use NFT as a source of passive income, and this was one of them.

How much do you keep in cash?

    Posted: 09 Jan 2022 01:07 PM PST

I've been buying into Crypto over the last year and I'm really happy with it. I had all my money in cash until then and it wasn't doing anything for me.

I've been slowly reducing my cash position, I guess I now have about 6 months salary or 30% of my net worth in cash. This does not include retirement accounts or my emergency fund.

I work FT in tech so I have a decent income coming in every month. I always buy on payday. However, with the current price of ETH I want to buy a few more.

Mt question is how much is too much to keep in cash?
