Electron Cash 4.2.5 (iOS version) is now available for download on the iOS App Store -- it is now fixed to work on iOS 15

    Posted: 25 Nov 2021 03:16 AM PST

If on iOS, get it here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/electron-cash/id1359700089

    Notes:

The "stuck loading screen" problem has been fixed. Electron Cash iOS version now works again on iOS 15. The problem was due to Apple breaking and changing their APIs.

Unfortunately, I now lack an iOS 14 phone (I had to update my phone just to be sure I fixed all the breakage). What's more, Apple doesn't offer "historical" iOS versions in their dev simulators -- all the freakin' simulators they offer are iOS 15+. So I set the app to only work on iOS 15+ when I uploaded it, because I cannot be sure it still runs on iOS 14 and earlier. If you are on an iOS 14 device, you won't be able to update it to latest (but your existing installed version should still continue to work).

    Also in this release:

    • Fixed the server editor textfield in the network preferences to actually work
    • Also fixed the "max static fee" in the preferences to actually work.
    • Updated the app's internal checkpoints and server list

    Bitcoin Cash is Money #6

“ The BTC user experience is so bad. Tried to buy a new @Trezor with crypto and they only accept BTC. Swapped my BCH for BTC and then found they want you to pay to a SegWit address, which isn't supported by my wallet. Swapped back to BCH (minus $25 in BTC fees) and used credit card”

Here is what smartBCH can do for economic freedom.

    Posted: 25 Nov 2021 04:24 AM PST

First of all you have to sell half your BCH to get in to a flexUSD/BCH liquidity pool so your upside is already cut in half. Then if the price of BCH does 2x you lose 6.25% on that.

Example. I buy 1 BCH at 500 USD. The price does 2x. I now have 1000 USD.

I only buy 0.5 BCH and still have 250 USD. The price does 2x. I now have 750 USD.

I only buy 0.5 BCH and still have 250 USD and put the 0.5 BCH and 250 USD in a liquidity pool. The price goes 2x. I now have 707.1 USD.

You gain has gone from 500 USD to 707.1 USD rather then 1000 USD.

So instead of 100% gain, you get only about 40%

However while you are providing LP you get

0.25% of your percentage of the pool per swap. Somebody swaps BCH for flexUSD, you get more flexUSD. Somebody swaps flexUSD for BCH, you get more BCH.

mist per day based on the mist allocation of that pair (volume and liquidity decide this) based on your percentage of the pool.

10 to 20% APY on the flexUSD, paid out every 8 hours.

xmist holders also get 0.05% of their percentage of the xmist supply of every swap.

So ...... depending on how long it takes before the pump finally comes. When the 2 pump comes it's possible that by that time you will have even more then 1000 USD in capital.

Eventually it will all depend on the volume. A high volume pool can make you a lot of money on fees.

Usually the exchanges put that in their own pockets, and now you can get it yourself.

But if we are close to the top of the current bull cycle it might be extremely lucrative for BCH holders to put a good 33% of their BCH stack in to smartBCH, using mistswap and the flexUSD/BCH pool.

If the bear comes you will survive it better then ever before without having to cash out or give exchanges access to your BCH. (which they abuse by lending to shorters)

Not only that but these LP containers that have flexUSD and BCH in them can be used in commerce. You are a retailer and want to order in bulk from china. It will take two weeks before the shipment will arrive.

You lock flexUSD and BCH in a LP containter. you use a smart contract to freeze this LP container between you and the producer. It can only flow forward, never backwards. (escrow)

The producer ships you his good. 2 weeks later you check the shipment. If everything is okay, you release the escrow and the producer becomes owner of the LP container which he can either keep closed or unwrap, to sell BCH for flexUSD and get the flexUSD cashed out. If things are not okay you have leverage with the producer. A compromise can be made, compensate me 20% for these damaged good or I will not release.

Now because of this construction if during those 2 weeks the BCH price crashes down 50%, the value lost will only be about 6%. This is survivable. And also during those two weeks, swapping fees and flexUSD interest is made.

So now rather then that the bank taking you money hostage for 2 weeks to make the interest and blames the slow payment processing time on a computer glitch, your producer will make the fees and interest.

Quite a different dynamic in term of economic freedom.

Can anyone explain what smartBCH is in a relatively simple context?

I've seen many videos now of people making high profits from smartBCH from their BCH however unsure how this is related.

I Am not trying to Shill here but after seeing what BCH did in 2017/2018 here is what I think. $10,000 to $17,500

    Posted: 24 Nov 2021 05:02 PM PST

Back in the day BCH hit around 4k and if we grab that point and draw the fib extension all the way to now this bullrun could bring BCH to the price I just posted. Here is why I think that.

I don't know shit but history does repeat itself specially with ETH AND BTC they all reached the 4.23 fib extension this bullrun 3k BTC and $85 ETH.

Now look at their price! They rose over 2500% on BTC and 4000% on ETH

I personally think that BCH will do the same. Based on history. Please don't quote me but honestly not financial advice either. I think BCH at these prices is cheap
