    A few weeks ago I tried to move all my crypto into a wallet. I usually transfer into my wallet every few months after several small purchases for DCA'ing. Anyway, after an hour or so I noticed my transfer wasn't going through and it just said sending. I decided to give it 24 hours incase the app was just being slow. The next day I saw the same message. I reached out to Anchor to see what was going on. They asked me for some info and said they'd look into it. I didn't hear back after about a week so I reached back out. They asked for the same info. This went on like this for about a week until communication dropped off from them… I did some digging and Prime Trust was handling their custodial accounts so I reached out to them to see what was going on. I got this response back from them.

    Hi Justin,

    I do not know the details. I wish had more insight to offer you. I did speak to our head of Compliance and he said Anchor has many legal issues right now and we are not able to touch any accounts relating to them. I assume that instruction comes from a legal entity other then ourselves.

    You are welcome to reach back out to us in the future to see if we have any updates. The Better Business Bureau may also be on option for you? I truly hope that they are able to get things cleared up and return your funds.

    So to anyone who has money in there I'm very very sorry, but this is what's going on. I doubt we'll get our money back and I don't expect to ever see the flare we got from the snapshot.

    TLDR: Don't sign up or use Anchor USD they are in major legal trouble. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY! Also, keep everything in a wallet, don't get lazy like me and only transfer every once in awhile.
