I want crypto to go mainstream so bad. But I don’t think we’re still ready for that Posted: 08 Oct 2021 12:27 PM PDT The reason being simply… scalability. We really get frustrated when fees are high but that is nothing compared to what will happen if millions of people start joining simultaneously. Most transactions would become useless cause the fees cost more. And yes there are platforms like NFTY Portal for NFTs and others like Cartesi that drastically reduce fees and delays, but still those platforms are not designed for the scenario I just proposed. A sudden wave of new users will most definitely crash the market some way or another. [link] [comments]

Crypto video streaming is very underrated in my opinion. Posted: 08 Oct 2021 01:33 PM PDT There are plenty of decentralized crypto streaming services that unlike platforms like YouTube don't have strict rules and censorship. I tried a couple of them like Xfinite and Theta. I especially liked Xfinite cause the layout was pretty sick. Content on these platforms is a lot richer, again because of no demonetization rules. It's a much better experience over all compared to YouTube or Netflix and I think these crypto streaming platforms deserve to be mentioned more honestly. [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Oct 2021 04:10 PM PDT What banks do people use to deposit money into crypto sites? I'm currently with HSBC (I know , they're one of the worst) they love to block my deposits. What crypto friendly banks do you all use? I can't keep being with HSBC since they believe they can tell me where I can transfer my money to. [link] [comments]

I think we're going to get a new king in MATIC if this keeps up. Posted: 08 Oct 2021 05:50 AM PDT MATIC's daily users have been growing on the daily and have over-taken Ethereum. This is honestly huge. Bigger than most people think. When was the last time another chain overtook Ethereum? I don't recall it ever happening. Eth and BTC have been on top of the food chain for a very long time. It's very interesting to see things being shaken up. While other projects are betting their success on VC money, Polygon is betting its success on users and developers using the blockchain to save millions in fees and develop lightning fast DApps. The difference is that we are actually seeing this put into action. It's glorious. [link] [comments]
