I’m Quitting my job because of crypto

    Posted: 27 Sep 2021 01:12 AM PDT

As title says, I started investing in crypto (and losing eventually) some money, but this happened to open my mind to what money is all about. Your wallet ( physical) can be filled with money, but someday for reasons that are not totally depending on you, the time that you spend having some of it could be all thrown to trash. I decided to live my life, to enjoy what I was really meant to be and this inspired me to create my own business that actually makes me forgot about the charts. What I really want to say to you guys is that you should do whatever makes you feel comfortable, is never to late to start working on your dreams, live your life and, eventually, money will come to you. It's all about being wealthy, not rich.

I invest all my money in crypto and I am aware of that. But it is my only way to ever achieve my dreams and financial independence. Fortune favors the brave.

    Posted: 26 Sep 2021 03:39 PM PDT

I invest only in crypto and also invest most of my money in crypto. Two big mistakes for most people here. I am aware about that. I could invest in stocks, silver or some other safer things. But it would be waste of money in my opinion. Those things are less profitable than crypto, so I would waste my time. For the same reason I invest almost all of my money in crypto, not just some. But I can afford that, I am student, I live with parents, I have no girlfriend/wife and no kids. I don't need most of my money. I earned or saved them myself, so I can do whatever I want with those money without regrets. And I live in europe, so whatever shit happen I still will not need my money, healthcare is "free".

I do not buy shitcoins or believe in 1000x profits in few weeks. I risk, but I am not an idiot or gambler. I believe crypto is the future, and it will grow. I diversify between different coins. This is all well calculated. If crypto will grow a lot, in which I believe, I will be the winner. I think most people here are afraid too much. I believe in crypto technology. It will change the world and I want to be part of that. If it will go to zero I will be not sad cause I lost some fiat, but because so beautiful idea failed. Fail of crypto would harm my pride and humanity more than my pocket.

I want to be rich from crypto in few years. I don't want to keep investing safe and wait 30/40 years, because it is waste of life. If I will lose all invested money then fine, I am prepared for it. I will be like all those other people that never tried. Better try and lose than whole life ask "what if?". Crypto is life time opportunity, last one was internet, but it was before I was even born. No no know what or when will be next one.

People have small dreams or none at all. Average life, working 9-5 is not for me. I don't want family and boring job. Formal education do not give big opportunities. I still study at university, so I have doors open. I can have good well paid job, but it still will be 9-5, working for someone else success. No thanks, I want have my own company, change word for better, not support rat race. Most people don't want to persue their dreams. All people had dreams as kids, most grow up and settled for reality, but some people still dream. I prefer to dream, invest in crypto and risk.

I have a lot of hobbies, I love reading and dreaming. I don't want to be part of the crowd. I want to do great things. Maybe it is naive, maybe not. Crypto is my only way for that, I am poor, I see whole my life like people waste their lives. I will change my life thanks to crypto or even without it. I live in europe, so even if I would end homeless I would have free healthcare, free food, free clothes and place in shelter. Even if I would have no money I would be fine. And in worst case I could travel around european union. All of it is better than lack of dreams. I believe thanks to crypto I will be rich, even if not, I will not stop trying. Many successful people failed or went bankrupt a lot of times before they achieved their dreams. What they had in common was that they never gave up.

Of course it is not any advice, it is risky and probably not for most of people. It is just one of many different ways to look on investing in crypto.

Dolce & Gabbana Wants to Crown Dogecoin Fan Elon Musk as "King of Crypto".. I prefer "Clown of Crypto"

So today, the 26th of September 2020, the official twitter of Dolce & Gabbana tweeted the following:

Dolce & Gabbana tweet about crowning Elon Musk

The Doge Crown, which features seven blue sapphires and 142 diamonds, was designed by none other than Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana themselves.

However, the crown has nothing to do with the meme cryptocurrency or its most famous cheerleaders since it was named after the former title of the supreme authority of Venice.

I believe it is time that we stop praising elon musk for doing literally nothing else than pumping a shit memecoin.

He is not, and will never be the King of Crypto.

    Hail Vitalik!

    Posted: 26 Sep 2021 05:50 PM PDT

Just as the title says: who else would accept their income in crypto if given the opportunity?

I've been watching NFL today and of course I've heard of multiple different players converting their millions of income to Bitcoin such as Chiefs Sean Culkin, Russel Okung converting half of his salary, so on and so forth.

I personally would say yes I would like to convert partial from my salary ( as I already do, much like contributing to a 401K) but as of right now in time I have no choice but to keep fiat money because it has not had mass acceptance, YET! The day that I can pay my utility bills and so on with crypto you bet your ass I will!

Who is ready for September to end and shocktober to begin?

    Posted: 26 Sep 2021 06:54 PM PDT

    Daily dose of hopium:

As most of us know in here September is historically the worst month of the year for crypto however October followed by November and December are the best months of the year !

What do I mean by shocktober? A supply shock. The amount of buying and hodling that has been going on according to on-chain with bitcoin is almost as high as it's ever been. This has a high chance of creating a wedge pattern where it's supply vs demand and the price will move up.

I made a post not long ago predicting we had hit the bottom. I still believe this to be the case. Yes I may be around but I truely believe we are about to see something special.

Personally I am buying all I can right now. The 🚀 is fueled ready to go and I have strapped myself in 😎

Take it or leave it doesn't bother me but I hope we all get rich 👊

Crypto Market gains Massively after China FUD instead of Crashing: People seem to no Longer Care about the Monthly China Scare

Should you talk about crypto currency on your first date?

    Posted: 26 Sep 2021 08:56 AM PDT

You start talking about interests/hobbies, future goals yadda yadda and you run out of things to say, should you resort to talking about crypto currency?

Apparently, only 5% of bitcoin users are women and so the chances of her also being into crypto are rathe low. There is also this tweet, which also has considerable amount of likes and retweets, by Jessica Huseman who says that:

"All I'm saying ladies is that if he brings up bitcoin or blockchain unprompted in the first date there shouldn't be a second."

But on the other hand, some of the comments on that tweet are rather postive and speak out agains the message. This got me thinking:

"Maybe my date will be the one that brings the topic up."

Argh, this is getting so tiresome and maybe you guys can share some of your experiences, if you have any.

Be Greedy When Others are Fearful...

    Posted: 26 Sep 2021 11:37 PM PDT

One day chart shows the similar kind of pattern we saw in July when Crypto markets started to recover after May Crash,

After yesterday's sharp dip and immediate recovery made the same Double bottom (W) pattern on daily charts, after that Market is on the upside move.

On 21st September, bitcoin went to $39k,then recovered to 45k level, but failed to break the crucial resistance at 45k. Yesterday,we saw a sharp dip again but it touched $40.7k,recovered immediately now trading around $44k.This made a similar W-shape pattern last we saw in July, The way market is holding it's current price,i am optimistic that we might see July like recovery. Watch out closely, and trade wisely.

Remember the quote : Be fearful when others greedy,be greedy when others are fearful.

There is an environment of fear due to sharp correction, Evergrande's crisis, China's ban all these things causing the fear among investors. I won't say anything more you guys are smart enough to figure out the rest.

This is not a financial advice

Q4 is (one of) the best quarters for crypto as per historical data

Q4 is (one of) the best quarters for crypto as per historical data

I just wanted to remind you (also to give you your daily shot of hopium) that Q4 is literally the best quarter for crypto.

If we look at returns for BTC (which leads the market and its value directly affects other coins) for each year, Q4 yielded the highest returns 3 times out of 8, so 3/8 (2015, 2017, 2020) and was pretty darn close to the highest in 2013 and 2016.

If we look at Q1, it performed the best 1/8 (2013).

    Q2, 3/8 (2014, 2016, 2019)

    and in Q3, 1/8 (2019)

If you sum the percentage increases column-wise, Q4 is the highest.

Hopefully the trend will continue, but I'm almost certain of it given how 'easily' we got out of the recent FUD regarding Evergrand and China.

Can you guys keep the prices down until Thursday?

    Posted: 26 Sep 2021 08:15 PM PDT

Hey was jw if you guys could just stop buying anything until I get my paycheck Thurs? I worked a shitton of overtime this weekend specifically to buy more crypto and it would do me a solid if you just stopped buying until then. I miscalculated and thought things were looking bearish so I bought a fuckton last week when the prices seem good.

I really REALLY don't want all the rockets to take off without me, I know I'm not a part of the reddit superchad group but please PLEASE just let me have a crumb of a 100x, my wife is pregnant! Thanks guys!

That's it, she looks at the logos and the ones she chooses pump like crazy

She got some money recently and we were looking for a coin for her to invest on

She loved the PERP logo and we researched about it. I didnt feel it was a good idea and she insisted on it. Now I checked and it pumped 70% already

She also loved SOL's in May but we decided for other coins, including LUNA, which she also loved the logo and then the project. Over 400% when she took her profits

I was looking at charts in August and Kusama's logo caught her eye... we didnt invest but it was just before Kusama's 40% pump

That's it, she gets a good feeling from the logo and they magicly pump, I cant explain it, I'll just blindly follow her now

I pay some of my employees through Crypto, and they are very happy about it.

    Posted: 26 Sep 2021 09:04 PM PDT

So 3 months back, one of my employees requested me to pay him in Bitcoin. I told him, if he can get atleast 4 more people to agree to this system, we can do it. He came back with 6 other people who were interested in taking their salaries in bitcoin. And that was it. I was surprised to see the number of people that are willing to do this and I was excited.

Ofcourse we chose an easy Manual process of transferring Bitcoin to their wallets, because there were only 7 people.

This helped them to only take out money they had to spend and keep rest of it in their wallets. Most of them have saved more money than they have ever saved in their previous jobs, even if it was just 3 months salary.

If more than 10-15 people show the interest of joining this payment system, we will look into creating or using an automatic payment system, which will smoothen the process.

    Is it legal?

The biggest challenge with cryptocurrencies from a payroll perspective is that there is no yes or no answer to the question of the legality of cryptocurrencies, bitcoin included. No central bank in the world has approved crypto as an established means of payment, which makes it difficult for payroll departments to rely on bitcoin as a payment method on par with traditional or fiat currencies.

Though employees can choose the way of payment and currency of it. If an employee signs a document stating he want to get paid in X Amount of chairs. Then that would be a legal wage.

    How do we do it?

We use Binance exchange to transfer from wallet to wallet. They later on use P2P method to convert their Crypto into fiat and later on withdraw it if they want to.

5 people get paid in bitcoin and 2 have been paid in Ethereum.

    Conclusion -

Crypto adoption will only gain good speed if we all do our parts. Its a bit difficult to do at this moment, but spending 15-30 mins more is totally worth it in the long term.

My experience with "Crypto for Homeless".

    Posted: 27 Sep 2021 01:57 AM PDT

Yesterday, I saw a post in this subreddit about "crypto for the homeless" project. I realize that so many people in my city (Bangkok) suffer from COVID-19 lockdown including homeless people and small street food stall. This project was looking for volunteers to help them hand food out and they said they would reimburse for the cost of food in crypto. I immediately contacted them via DM and asked about the details on how I could get involved. They told me to print out a flyer, hand food out, and take pictures of everything.

Earlier today, I bought noodle and boiled egg from local business and hand out to homeless people under Rama 8 bridge in Bangkok. I submitted the pictures to them by email and immediately got reimbursed in crypto (bitcoin cash was my choice). Overall, I highly recommend volunteering for them when you can. You get to help the homeless and get paid back in crypto. The only cost is your time, which I would gladly do again.
