Thank you to the ElectronCash devs for keeping things logical!

Don't know if anyone has noticed the utterly nonsensical changes that have taken place with BTC Electrum/ElectrumLTC 4.x. You now literally have to click through multiple extra stupid dialogs just to get to the transaction preview. You want to copy 10 addresses? You must copy EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY. Not only that, but not with 4.x you have to navigate through a SUB-MENU in order to get to the copy-address option. Ever try doing that through a high-latency VNC? Talk about ABSURD! You never know if you already click Broadcast because the dialog doesn't gray out the button, or notify the user in any way except for the pop-up dialog.

With ElectronCash just select 10 addresses and right click copy! This is the way it should be!!! No sub-menus. No nonsense. Just pure simply beautiful LOGIC!

Electrum / ElectrumLTC / ElectrumDASH are all going backwards while ElectronCash is always moving forwards with logic and improvements! Thank you ElectronCash devs!

BREAKING: BSV IS SUFFERING A BLOCK REORGANIZATION ATTACK

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 12:01 PM PDT

    Warning to avoid using blockchain.com

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 10:31 PM PDT

I understand this is a bitcoin forum but in the interests of transparency, I suggest anyone reading this to avoid using blockchain.com to earn interest.

Firstly, there are hidden withdrawal limits on the interest account.

Secondly, after gold level verification, they can impose additional verification requirements to prevent funds from being withdrawn.

Hope this helps as a warning to all.

Is it possible now to make money on Bitcoins?

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 11:25 PM PDT

Hello there! I hope you can share your opinion regarding Bitcoins or suggest any other cryptocurrency to invest in. I've noticed that investing in crypto became trendy. Apart from that, people are making some good money on tokens and crypto. I want to be a part of that community and don't want to lose my chance to make some extra money on cryptocurrencies.

I've heard about the recent events and about the significant drop in the price of Bitcoins. Besides, I'm aware that some other cryptos are tightly linked to Bitcoin's price. So, I wonder if there is any point in entering this field now. On the one hand, everyone is skeptical about Bitcoin's future related to some recent events. But, on the other hand, a new economic boom comes after each crisis. So, some experts state that after this dramatic fall, the price of a bitcoin will boom, and it's worth investing in them now.

In other words, it is possible to buy them for a low price now and then sell them when the price is going to increase. I have already found some purchasing guides with step-by-step instructions on https://buybitcoins101.com. So, I hope that Bitcoins are worth investing in.

But, as you can see, I know only one way to make money on Bitcoins. In my opinion, this method is suitable for any crypto or public shares. Also, it works with all World known currencies. In the meantime, some people manage to mine cryptocurrencies somehow. Apart from that, there are some other methods too. So, I wonder if there are some risk-free ways to make money on crypto? As most of you are probably aware, trading involves a lot of risks. Even if you hire a broker, you need to pay him his share, and still, there are some risks involved. I know that you can take a lot of risks. Still, there is a chance to lose everything in a blink of an eye. I wonder what you can suggest for risk-averse people apart from not getting into this.

I updated ChainLists so people can easily add SmartBCH network to MetaMask with the click of a button without manually adding it

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 09:23 AM PDT

Hey guys, I saw some people asking for an easier way to connect their MetaMask wallet to SmartBCH networks so I made one.

    1. Go to https://chainlist.org/ & Press "Connect wallet"
    2. Type "SmartBCH" in the search bar up top
    3. You'll see 2 options, the Mainnet and Testnet; Click "Add to Network" on the one that says "ChainID 10000 (mainnet)"
    4. Confirm it on MetaMask
    5. ????
    6. Profit

edit: I want to credit Wang Kui for initially adding it to the list, but it had an error and needed new RPC URLs which were updated

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 10:37 AM PDT

I've seen a lot of posts about the recent launch of SmartBCH.

I already added the network to metamask and would like to play around with it and deploy some contracts, but I can't seem to find any information on how to get some BCH on SmartBCH?

Introducing ARCC: Allowable Revocable Contract Chain System for Bitcoin Cash

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 04:20 AM PDT

    Hi Everyone!

I recently shared a solution called ARCC on bitcoincashresearch.org. It's a way to mimic pull/revoke mechanism on Bitcoin Cash. It allows one party to be able to control the flow of funds and still give restricted access to another party to spend that money based on restrictions of time and amount.

The design makes it possible for the contract to be aware of time and amount, making a vast set of applications possible, such as: Streaming Services, Recurring Payments, Pay as you use, etc.

Please feel free to provide any feedback for improvements. https://bitcoincashresearch.org/t/introducing-arcc-allowable-revocable-contract-chain-system-for-bitcoin-cash/522

The goal of sharing it at multiple places is to get a feedback as soon as possible. Mostly for any Security issues/ Edge cases/ Missed logical cases/ Incorrect analogy or simply 'This doesn't work'. :D
    Cheers!

Earn the highest returns on BTC-assets through hedged DeFi yield strategies

    Posted: 03 Aug 2021 11:13 AM PDT

Ways to generate passive income in the crypto industry are growing and gaining popularity. As the products are getting more reliable and secure, there are more valid options for a steady source of income. The situation is quite similar with DeFi. Considering proven options from the passive crypto investments platform, there is a new version of the Midas.Investments platform called Midas Yield aims to simplify the investment process in the Defi market. The team removes unnecessary features and leaves only the most important: core crypto assets staking to earn interest. So, what are the rates?

    • 9% annual yield - Bitcoin (BTC)
    • 10% annual yield - Ethereum (ETH)
    • 13% annual yield - Tether (USDT)

The rewards are sent on each asset every Friday to make your weekends slightly better. If you'd like to know how DeFi can become your personal money-generating machine check out the official product page.
