How to accept Bitcoin cash as a live musician??

Hello everyone, longtime lurker here. Been involved in crypto for about a year and BCH has always stuck out as the most practical cryptocurrency for real world use! As the title says, I'm a live musician who is finally getting back to gigging after a year long hiatus because COVID and I want to try something new!

I have a sign that has my venmo and my website on it as well as a tip jar for cash money but I want to accept crypto payments as tip, namely Bitcoin Cash. What would be the best way to go about this? Could I just slap a QR code on my sign? Is that safe? I want to make sure everything stays secure as well!

Mothers Day BCH story

So I thought you guys might like this one. I visited a local florist on Friday - it IS Mother's Day and any man who knows the value of his wife and life knows that means flowers at a minimum :) Well, I was standing in line and happened to notice the guy in front of me checking his Coinbase account (I am a crypto-peeper apparently). So I politely asked what coins he was into, he said he didn't know a lot but just started getting into - he owns BTC, ETH, and...Doge (I tried desperately not to facepalm, I think my hand got halfway to my head before I remembered the maxim from a wise friend "never judge a child by the yardstick of your years"...which applies to Crypto-children too :)

So....I went on to tell him to sell his Doge and BTC and buy BCH instead. I explained the key differences in costs and transaction speeds etc...he was genuinely listening (and I actually watched him sell his Doge for about a 40% profit - which he should be thanking me for right now!) He told me he was going to buy some BCH, but it was his turn at the register. The young(ish) girl that ran the store had heard us talking and said she didn't fully get the whole crypto thing so I gave her a 60second primer and told her if she wanted to she could do her first sale in BCH and I would personally help her get it set up while I was standing there. The other guy was hanging around, and I told him it would be good so he could see the speed of BCH.

So, got the girl to download the wallet on her phone, and stood there and sent her the BCH for the exorbitantly priced flowers lol It took about 1-2 sec. She was flabbergasted, and the guy was honestly converted right there and then. I explained the costs (about 1c) and time (1s) and then explained the timeline and cost on BTC or ETH networks (about 15min and $20-30 for a $70 transaction). I explained also how (compared to a visa card transaction which costs her 30c+3%), she just saved about $2.50 in fees and added 3% to her bottom line without doing anything different, plus there are no chargebacks or bs like that.

The girl asked me to come back next week and help her understand how to market this and use this on an ongoing basis.

Just thought it was a cool "two-for-one" story.

Have a Happy Mother's Day and don't forget the most important woman in your life (seriously, even when you feel she's getting on your case for buying too much BCH, it's for your own good as she probably understands DCA better than you think ;) )

A question about BCH wallets

So I'm a total noob so please excuse me if this is a dumb question, but I have restored a wallet containing a small amount of BCH into 2 wallet apps on my phone, but only one of them is showing funds and the other just shows the dreadful $0.00 . I restored the wallet using the same 12-word phrase on both apps, did I do anything wrong? I'm very new to crypto and BCH is the first I've ever owned, but I'm trying to get more experienced and educated with this whole thing. Thanks in advance for anyone who offers assistance 🤗

Hello again eveyone, this must be fith post I am posting today. Three of them were the ones I wrote on read.cash and wanted to share them on here as it was advised to do it there. It was said on a read cash post that reddit was a great platform to get noticed and I could link my posts on Bitcoincash community. As far as I see, yes it is and thank you all for your comments, upvotes, tips sent and your time to read them. However, on my last post I noticed I might have offended some friends on here. It was about Elon Musk and dogecoin. I am so sorry, in fact I had only intended to criticize Musk's manipulations on the market. BCH at 400 was the best buy ive made

After I won a CS:GO item from gambling I sold it for $200 in BTC which I cashed out for at 30,000 bc BTC was gonna dip way back down, of course. Since I had already made a coinbase I decided why not just buy something. As such, Bit-juan at $400 was pretty tempting. It was my first buy and my best :) Im glad its so fast and cheap. The name is the only downside. Bit-Juan is much easier to pronounce. Cant wait for it to hit 10,000 and me to be a millionare

Hello to all the community, first of all I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Carlos Toro, I am a Lawyer (free practice) and cryptocurrency enthusiast, I also consider myself a Blogger, you can find me on Noise.Cash under my nickname BabyYoda.

I have always considered myself self-sufficient and have proudly managed to graduate from college and live a very decent life under my own means.

But currently and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I have not been able to work in my area of expertise and although I manage to support myself very fairly with other types of jobs and I find myself totally unable to perform the repair work that I will mention and that is vital to maintain the physical structure of my home.

the situation is as follows: two of the walls of my room have presented cracks and the floor surrounding that area has sunk, this has caused that both the wall and the entire floor structure is compromised and possibly a collapse of the entire structure is the result if this situation continues its course, since it is noteworthy that peridiocally you can see how the cracks increase their size and the floor spread a little more.

I will attach photos where you can see the above mentioned.

Under the advice of experienced construction workers, have come to the conclusion that in order to solve and repair the cracks and the cracked floor, it is necessary to take certain measures and modify the structure, adding structural beams and redoing the floor.

all these works generate costs in terms of materials, labor and transportation.

Washed sand 1mts (40$)

Mine sand 1mts ($35)

Cement bag 8 units (15$ each unit x 8= 120$)

Structural steel N12 / 4 units (35$ each unit x 4 x 140$)

Chalk 1/2 mts (40$)

Transportation: 40$ would be the approximate cost of transportation of the material needed from the hardware store to my house.

Labor cost: 250$.

I have spoken with the construction workers, very hard working and highly motivated people, who although they are also going through difficult times have told me that they will charge me the lowest rate for the work to be done since I am from the same community and because of my current situation.
