Bitcoin Cash Merchant Adoption in the USA

Bitcoin Cash Merchant Adoption in the USA

On my latest read.cash article, I explore the Bitcoin Cash merchant adoption in the US.

While there are right now 5000 points of interest in the US map, with shops and businesses accepting Bitcoin Cash, I still think there is a lot more to be done in this field.

Hopefully, we can educate businesses to adopt Bitcoin Cash for P2P electronic cash payments, and reduce fees paid to third-party processors.

    educate me

    Posted: 05 May 2021 09:09 AM PDT

    hello everyone,

new to the whole crypto currency world. Funny story had been wanting to invest for awhile, but I am a stay at home mom with no income. I made a deal with my husband if I got A's in my classes he had to give me 200 cash so I could invest in something (just to start), I got those A's. I did some reading and thought I'd invest in BCH because I kept finding the same opinion on "BTC being overhyped". I like betting on the underdog I guess. I invested back in Jan when BCH dipped to the $300, I should have just put the whole amount on BCH, but I put a little here and there. I used PayPal to invest (probably a mistake) I don't really know better. I've enjoyed watching the up and down, and now my husband has been getting hyped watching the movement the last couple of days.

my question, can anyone point me in the direction to gain more knowledge? I'd like to start making smarter decisions, and have a better understanding. thank you in advance.

    Long term prospect

    Posted: 05 May 2021 08:48 AM PDT

Will BCH be able to survive in an ETH world? Why?

I'm currently holding on a small pos. Of BCH (average 1k) and this run up has me thinking if BCH will be able to survive in an ETH world. It appears different applications could be created on the ETH platform which could render BCH null or useless. Anyone care to share any insight on BCH's long prospect?

    Rising inflation

    Posted: 05 May 2021 08:47 AM PDT

    Hey all,

I really wonder how talks of increasing rates and worries of inflation will bode for crypto, especially BCH. Similarly in third world companies with de-valued currencies BCH has been getting adopted to hedge the loss of value. I wonder if similar developments in the USA namely due to printing and stimulus will drive people to crypto assets. BCH may have allot to gain from it as how fast it is, low fees and growing in value may prove to be a good asset to park as "cash" for investors instead of bonds metals or real estate. Wonder what y'all think!

Bitcoin Cash for Venezuela & Latin America

    Posted: 04 May 2021 04:08 PM PDT

    Hello,

I have been sending employees pay by bitcoin in Venezuela but the fees are getting high for sending and receiving end at localbitcoin.com. (I guess there is a receiving fee.)

I wish there was a localbitcoin.com for bitcoin cash. It doesn't look like they supported going through the currencies and crypto currencies.

I saw there was one ATM but it had bitcoin and dash.

I'm also a partner in a job marketplace focused on Latin America. We have many Venezuelans on our platform. We have emphasized the use of bitcoin for a number of reasons. But now with the high receiving fees on localbitcoin.com, An alternative is needed.. Perhaps I could be bitcoin cash

    Posted: 04 May 2021 07:41 PM PDT

Hi, I'm playing with electron cash an create a multi signed wallet with 3 signers(A,B,C) using the master public key of each one.

After I send a cent to the new wallet until, here all fine.

Then I created a transaction and saved to a file.

I open the unsigned transaction in wallet A, signed it and save to a file again.

I open the signed transaction in wallet B signed it and tried to submit the to the blockchain but

"La transacción fue rechazada debido a un error en la ejecucción del script"

    translation

"The transaction was rejected due to an error in the execution of the script"

It is a bug or I'm missing something
