Posted: 06 Apr 2021 02:58 PM PDT ...since that conference call hearing today between Ripple's lawyers and the SEC lawyers, any related posts about discovery requests being granted by the judge have been removed on every related sub I know of, including posts about the SEC confirming that the statement from the commissioner in 2018 about ETH and BTC not being securities is not an official SEC stance. Shouldn't this be leaking all over the place? Someone trying to keep this quiet? [link] [comments]

At what point does not selling become greedy? Posted: 06 Apr 2021 08:00 AM PDT In the world of investing there are generally some universally agreed guidelines as to what return is considered good, however specifically for crypto it seems to be a lot more ambiguous. So that leads me to my question to you all - what do you think is a reasonable goal and what crosses the line and becomes greedy? E.G 2x your investment, 4x the investment? Let's discuss :) [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Apr 2021 10:36 AM PDT had a ripple wallet on my desktop back in 2017 but can't remember which one. I still have the passwords and keys, just getting curious if I left anything in it (I vaguely remember having to keep a 500 or 1000 ripple in it at all times) Anyone got any ideas which wallet it might have been? Posted: 06 Apr 2021 09:08 AM PDT Ive had some xrp in xumm wallet since December. Honestly I haven't got my head around flare tokens: do I have them? If so where are they? If not, where, or can I get them? Also, where would I store them? I have tried looking online and everything I've read so far is pretty confusing. Thanks for any help 👍 [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Apr 2021 07:50 AM PDT I had a question specific to the xrp lawsuit situation. I've been a long time holder... like 5 years. When the lawsuit happened I felt like I was forced to sell when exchanges started locking everything down. When I found out where the chips fell, I exchanged back into XRP like within a couple days. Negligible profit, i added like 400ish xrp to my stack. My question is this: if I sell in the next year can I still claim long term capital gain on my taxes since it was never my intent to sell before the frivolous lawsuit happened? I figured I would pretend the sale didn't happen in 2020, and if I sell in 2021 I would do long term capital gains on the original stack and short term capital gains on the new 400 stack (from a starting price of zero). I'm not sure this is legal but I can argue that it's at least fair. [link] [comments]
When is the court case expected to have an outcome? Posted: 06 Apr 2021 06:22 AM PDT I'm getting a little paranoid now, I've woke up to over £700 profit this morning in the UK but as I know it's all going to depend how the court case goes, does anyone have any links where I can follow it & stay up to date? I'm not here for quick profits but I also don't want to lose it all in my sleep either as I know the possible outcome of the case is very close, it would be much appreciated. [link] [comments]
