Ethereum Berlin upgrade countdown community call Posted: The Ethereum Cat Herders are hosting a countdown call for the Berlin upgrade that will be joined by EIP authors, EIP editors, client developers, & the Ethereum community. Because of variable block time, the live stream will begin 45 minutes before the estimated time for fork block, 12 244 000, is mined. You are invited to join the live stream. Details in the announcement blog. If you have any questions related to this or the upcoming upgrade, let us know and we will share them with the participants during the call. [link] [comments]

How much ETH do you currently hodl? (A discussion on Ethereum holding distribution) Posted: As the Ethereum ecosystem moves through the different stages of 2.0, I thought it would be neat to gather some data on the distribution of users segmented by total ETH holdings, especially since it gives us all a broader idea of the fraction that are capable of participating in the staking process, well..., at least the distribution actively participating on the largest Ethereum subreddit. For this specific poll, when I say user, I mean a single person and the aggregate of their accounts. [link] [comments]
What happens to your ETH when we finally transition into ETH 2.0? Posted: I've been mining ETH for the last bit and thinking about making a bigger investment, when it transfers to pos, I know that people are still needed to validate transactions, and I believe I heard people will still gain rewards for validating transactions (like mining) proportional to the amount of ETH that they own. Is this true or is there something else that I need to know? Sorry just find it a bit confusing. [link] [comments]

Is Robinhood good for long term ethereum?? Posted: I have almost 2.0 equity in ethereum on Robinhood. But I'm concerned about the long run, can I get some opinions ??? [link] [comments]
Posted: Okay, so I'm really new to the crypto world, and the only thing that peeked my interest aside from BTC is investing in the Ethereum platform. Now, BTC wasn't PREMINED meaning that Satoshi actually started mining the coins well after he announced the coin. I assume Ether is PREMINED using the Ethereum platform, right? Does that mean?
Please ELI5 the concept of 'premined' when it comes to Ethereum or Ether ( I still don't understand it fully). Thank you so much. [link] [comments]

Posted: I was wondering if anyone had any input on which portfolio trackers tend to be the most accurate or up to date. I've tried a few, but the few I've tried never seem to be synced very well to the market, and so my portfolio value is off, sometimes by a lot. I don't mind if the software or application isn't free, but any privacy features would be a plus. Thanks in advance 🙏 [link] [comments]

Is it possible to move all my tokens in a single transaction? Posted: I want to move my funds to a new wallet. Do I need to move each token separately or is there a way to move everything (multiple tokens + eth) in a single transaction? [link] [comments]
Posted: Okay so I'm researching into putting a relatively small amount of ETH (2-3) into a stake pool, but I'm having trouble finding reliable information. I use Coinbase so that will be an option when it goes live, but I'm not sure when that's supposed to be. I know Kraken has that option but I'm not sure if it's worth opening an account. Also, I'd rather do it in a decentralized way, but also want some assurance that the funds are safe. Is there a good guide somewhere as to what pools are working properly and the pros and cons of each? Or any tips people here can provide me? I know it's not a huge amount, but it's still like $5k and I want to make sure it's safe while staked. [link] [comments]
Posted: As above, deployed a contract, it shows up in Etherscan but after the deployment I got this: insufficient funds for gas * price + value Is there any way to recover this? Do I have to pay again? [link] [comments]
Does it cost any gas or fees to import a wallet into metamask using 12 word seed phrase? Posted: Bonus question: Also how does it work with importing multiple wallets into metamask? Are all the assets from the different wallets combined into one? Or are they separate metamask wallets? [link] [comments]
Is miner tip fully optional in EIP 1559? Posted: In EIP 1559, the base fee guarantees that the transaction will be included in the next block, so is there any need for the miner tip functionality? If I pay the base fee only with a 0 miner tip, will the transaction be included in the block. If so what would be the point of the miner tip? [link] [comments] |
