I want to apologize to the Bitcoin Cash community.

I've been very critical of BCH lately, but I've had a change of heart after doing more research, and being more open-minded about it. One big thing that did it for me is this interview here with Kim Dotcom and some maxis. It is clear that Kim just wants mass adoption, and is going with the project that makes the most sense to him. Through the whole interview he's polite, considerate, and calmly explains his side, while being berated multiple times by the other people in the chat.

I will continue to support Bitcoin, but I think Bitcoin Cash is a great project, and is (at least right now) a better means of exchange. I'm excited to see what Bitcoin Cash does in the future, and I love that this community is pushing for mass adoption!

why I do use Bitcoin Cash BCH - because it works like BTC in 2013, but enhanced

    Posted: 04 Apr 2021 11:55 PM PDT

Downloaded a BCH full node from Venezuela, took me only 3 hours. Had 0 issues. Bitcoin maxis arguments make no sense. I imagine downloading the same blockchain from a "first world" country would take less time. Took me 170 gigabytes, which is arguably the size of a triple-A game today.

    BCH Change of Heart

    Posted: 04 Apr 2021 08:59 PM PDT

I'm usually here talking sh*t about BCH. Heh, sorry. I just took a long cold hard look at the BCH/USD chart and after reading up on Kim dot coms upcoming projects and his arguments for prioritizing BCH over Bitcoin and every other digital currency...

I see an imminent leap to $1k and most likely previous ATH around $4k.

Soon as my USDC clears on Coinbase, bombs away. Can't believe I'm saying this.🤭

    Edit: Done deal.

Edit: Wow, easiest tipping ever. Thanks guys.

22:30 mark. Ok people we have a new mission. Tim Dillon is to b a speaker at B.tc 2021 in June. He is a truth seeker. Clearly he is unaware of who is in control of Bitcoin core. Our job is to politely make him aware of y BCH exists today. If he learns then who knows what he'll say on stage lol.

Why is BCH's database so much smaller than BTC's?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2021 04:00 AM PDT

    BCH currently takes around 189GB
    BTC around 390GB

On average historically BCH's blocks are smaller 701.382 KBytes vs 874.973 KBytes so I thought that was the reason, but the difference is nowhere close to the real DB size.

Is it pruned by default? does it store all tx in a different manner?
How is BCH that much more efficient?

Early Release of the Hashdragons game on BCH blockchain!

    Posted: 04 Apr 2021 04:30 PM PDT

    Let the hatching begin!

We at hashdragons.io have been developing a game concept based around NFTs on BCH for a while now, and we are doing an early release of the NFTs associated with it.

In some ways it's like the cryptokitties thing on Ethereum, but has a deeper concept behind it and, we believe, far more potential as a game.

We've just released 1/16th of the entire possible supply of Hashdragon Seed NFTs today for 0.002 BCH each.

To learn more about Hashdragons, and buy one (or some) of this first "brood", please visit:

    https://github.com/hashdragons/hashdragons.io

You can support us by following us on Twitter (and get the very latest announcements from us):

An Apology to BCH and this sub

    Posted: 04 Apr 2021 09:03 AM PDT

I'm nobody important individually, and have no sway. Big enough to invest in altcoins and use trade pairs and exchanges to profit and quit my day job (ironworker). This didnt happen overnight.

Anyway, I laughed at BCH and this sub to the point where i didn't regularly post. I made money by completely understanding the altcoins, laying a plan, and following it cashing out when necessary into BTC. I knew all founders / team, planned events years in the future, and did all the necessary tokenomics required to avoid scams or shady dealings and obfuscated wallet transactions from the team in charge (Chainlink). I treated BCH negatively because of the behaviour and dismissiveness this community has shown. I now understand why. I do the same thing to new apprentices on the job after Ive shown them how to do something and they need retold.

I did almost zero real research on BTC and more importantly the block issues and split. The very token i was cashing into (FIAT is only used to pay bills in advance, otherwise its all in crypto, including bank account substitutes on ETH) is tainted and likely co-opted by the same institutions I'm avoiding.

I am a sucker. I like my mistakes public as the ridicule is a great teacher and reminder.

    Fucking BankCoin.

I still intend to trade. I will continue to take money from dips and place them in projects I care more about. I have been a big supporter of XMR and prefer to hold coins with real uses now, because 2018 was rough. I guess I now have to add the real XBT to my long term portfolio. Continue to build the network, some of us are using crypto in lieu of traditional solutions already - where we can.

If I have more wrong please let me know. I do this for a living and the aspergers gives me pretty thick skin.

Why BCH is helping small business like my fathers!

    Posted: 04 Apr 2021 10:53 AM PDT

My father owns a sneaker store in Brooklyn, NY. We get somewhere around 5-7 charge backs a week with each chargeback losing us around $300+. I suggested my dad to take Bitcoin, we made a QR code and then we realized that Bitcoin fees are $10+ and that if someone had RBF they can double spend the transaction. That's why we also made a BCH QR code cause BCH is fast, cheap and has no-RBF!

Thank you BCH! If you are ever looking for new sneakers just dm me and you can pay with BCH!

(BTW my father isn't converting his BCH and BTC to fiat!)

Here's the Twitter post with the QR code's if you were wondering what they look like! https://twitter.com/EncryptedSingh/status/1378492523027562496?s=20

Edit: chargebacks we get aren't all $300, $300 is around the average.
