    Nicehash FUDs Phoenix miner?

    Posted: 07 Mar 2021 04:54 AM PST

    https://www.nicehash.com/blog/post/stop-using-phoenix-miner-immediately

So the sha sum changed and the miner has moved to a new location. Nicehash believes this is suspicious and disables Phoenix miner. Asks users to reinstall os on devices where Phoenix miner was previously installed.

Anyone knows the truth of the matter?

    RX570 4G 6X Rig purchase, is it worth 1200$ USD ?

Put my 500 Mh/s rigs outside, no more noise, can handle the heat better, also better hash rate at night (more OC).

    Posted: 06 Mar 2021 07:03 PM PST

    Well that’s only $1136/ea. What a steal!

Help with powering GPUs and risers

    Posted: 07 Mar 2021 07:42 AM PST

    Hi guys!

I am having trouble with connecting my PSU to my GPUs and risers. I have 3x 1660 Ti and 3x 1660 Super and a Cooler Master V1000 GOLD PSU giving me 1000w.

However, I can't figure out how to connect all 6 of my 1660's and risers.

    Here are some pics.

    PSU https://ibb.co/FmjxmX9

    8pin cables for GPU(?) https://ibb.co/NjVTrt6

Got only two cables but have 4 slots https://ibb.co/NNz6Bsw

I tried searching online but everything is just too vague for me and I can't grasp all the technical jargon.

Do I need to buy more cables for the PSU? Am I supposed to buy splitters? Or should I get one more PSU?

Guys help, I'm busting my head for three days already but am too scared to experiment with electricity with all the horror stories.

    Thanks.

    GPU PRICES ARE CRAZY

    Posted: 07 Mar 2021 01:44 AM PST

Since DAG size is too large for 4GB cards market should be dumped with cards like rx570 4GB but it's not, and even for rx570 4GB people want about 150EUR/USD..

I just want to build normal gaming pc but it's just impossible to find cheap cards, even GTX1050 (not ti) cost 120€£$.

any prognosis when gpu prices will be normal again?

i remember at December i was able to get rx480 4GB cards for 50-60 eur each, but i considered it's too expensive and awaited DAG size to increase

    Asus tuf rtx3080 thermal throttle

    Posted: 06 Mar 2021 11:59 PM PST

So I've been trying to oc my cards and my biggest problem I ha e is with one of my Asus rtx3080, in the rig it currently sits there are

    2 evga 1600w Asus prime z390-a Msi rtx ventus 3080 2 evga 3080 1 zotac 3090 1 (the other) Asus tuf 3080

The card will start to thermal throttle immediately, I have replaced all the pads and even the thermal paste, updated all my drivers. Tonight I was trying to remove and tomorrow I'll reapply the thermal paste and see if it makes a difference, if that doesn't work I might reflash the bios.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I can even get it at 200w, 600 memory clock, -200 coreclock (I've tested many different settings)

My other Asus tuf runs perfectly at 220w, 1100 memory, -200 core with a hash rate of 98mh/s

I don't want to open the other open In fear of warranty and also opening something that isn't broke.

Can't find anything about this card on any other thread or videos because it works amazingly apparently for everyone else

Hopefully tomorrow someone can help me fix it.

I switched from Unmineable miner software to T-rex. Now my hashrate increased from 24Mh to 30Mh. Now my biggest question is "Is everything working fine?", I did the config on my own. I'm new to using T-rex. Please help me, Thanks.

If you ever get the gigabyte aorus 3080 you need to add the extra thermal pads they are missing in the back and increase the middle on to a 3mm. This fixed all my problems and I get very good 98mh/s
