Smartlands Network (SLT) potential fee income per token

Smartlands Network (SLT) potential fee income per token

    Hi guys,

For those of you that don't know, Smartlands Network is a project aiming to tokenize real-world assets, such as real estate. Token holders that hold at least €1000 worth of SLT will be able to stake later on and will be given one-third of the fees collected by Smartlands (see the first picture for a brief overview of the fees). The purpose of this post is to estimate how large the reward from trading fees is for each staked token (currently worth less than $5).

I went off of dr Poplovski's Reddit post (https://np.reddit.com/r/SmartlandsPlatform/comments/lty4tm/smartlands_potential_genius_tokenomics/) and made an Excel analysis with regards to the potential trading fee income per Smartlands Network token and Smartlands' revenue stream associated with that income per token. I am not here to tell you what is realistic, I'm just sharing possibilities depending on the amount of assets tokenized in EURO and the average percentage of assets traded on a daily basis (I included 5 out of 7 days per week, so the trading volume on weekends would be 0 in my calculations). I also calculated based on the total 5.1M circulating supply, so the rewards could be higher if a lower number is staked. (dr. Poplovski estimated it could be 70% staked, though no one can know for sure)

With regards to the percentage of trading volume, I checked a couple of stocks and saw some with 2% daily trading volume and some with 7%. Of course, those are stocks and not real estate (though Smartlands could eventually tokenize stocks as well).

I should also note that nothing is a given, it's all depending on the value of assets on the network and trading volume. Do your own DD and determine for yourself what is realistic. That being said, IMO an initial "realistic" target would be between 1 and 10 billion euros of assets in the network (as Smartlands' initial goal is 1 billion) and between 2.5% to 7.5% of the average daily trading volume. I could be wrong, so make up your own mind obviously.

With that out of the way, I'll share my analysis with a couple of pictures.

Summary of Dr. Poplovski's initial analysis + initial fee explanation

In the bottom part of this picture, I calculated the potential fee income per token in EUR and USD based on a 5% average trading volume and 1 billion euros of tokenized assets on the platform.

Sensitivity analysis on potential fee income per token

This table shows the potential fee income in USD based on the value of the assets that are tokenized on the network in millions of euros and the percentage of these assets that get traded daily (5 days of the week). The yellow parts are my initial, potential targets; determine for yourself what you think could be realistic. So, do you think only 1% of assets would be traded daily or do you think it would be more (or even less)? And also think about what you think could be realistic with regards to assets tokenized (and there is the matter that the platform will need to be used to reach that target; Smartlands' initial target is 1 billion euros). What you deem to be realistic is up to you, I'm just sharing the analysis and you can decide what you think is realistic within the values given and based on your own DD. Or you could totally disagree with the values, that's all fine of course.

Smartlands' potential revenue stream from the trading fees

And lastly, I made the same analysis but instead of looking at token income, I looked at Smartlands' trading fee revenue based on trade volume and assets on the network. The question to ask yourself here is: how much revenue do you think Smartlands will generate if it gets successful? That could be interesting to look at. Also note that Smartlands will also generate revenue from initial listing fees and annual listing fees.

I hope that I turned your attention to what could be an interesting project, still in its infancy! Always do your own DD and determine for yourself if you think the project is interesting and has potential.

Note that I'm not a financial advisor and if you choose to invest it is at your own risk. Nothing is a given, this is just an analysis of potential outcomes based on the described assumptions. The network is not live yet and we do not know if and how it will be adopted.

One real utility that comes to mind is perhaps copyright content. 🤷‍♂️ But beyond that, which could be huge, I'm at a loss. I don't know what other use case digital art really has, if not for some sort of commercial benefit. You can't hang a digital image of a cat on your wall and brag to your elitist friends about what an art collector you are, so that rational doesn't quite work for me. So what are these things and what is the real value here?

Why Is Smartlands Exploding In Price? 597% ROI in 2 Weeks

    The Chart:

I started posting about Smartlands SLT about 2 weeks ago and wanted to follow up and answer any questions people may have. Many people called me a shill, but I was just trying to show you a project that has a ton of potential. Smartlands well selling for $.83 on February 15th, and and now exactly 2 weeks later it has shown an ROI of 597% and is selling for $4.90 per SLT.

Can it still grow from here?

Smartlands has not even scratched the surface yet. The platform will be going live this month with several projects as well as several exchange listings coming (including a tier 1 exchange). Smartlands is still a very low cap coin with an extremely small circulating supply. If Smartlands can reach a Market cap of 1 billion, each SLT will be worth $200. That is a 100X ROI from where we are now. If you didn't pull the trigger earlier there is still time to get in. Always DYOR, but it it something to look into!
