Posted: 01 Feb 2021 12:40 AM PST Anyone know when paypal is launching litecoin? Or I should say, when did they launch it? I'm seeing it as of today, Feb 1st. Thought it was coming later in q1? Edit: I'm retarded. So paypal will allow merchants to accept litecoin as payments. Oops. Hopefully those drives the price up! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Feb 2021 09:02 AM PST Tried to convert my litecoin today on coinbase and it says.. Wallets token conversation feature relies on decentralized exchange built on the ethereum blockchain. As result a result, only ethereum based tokens can be converted using this feature. No idea what this means. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Feb 2021 01:26 AM PST I have 5 litecoin in a coinbase account. I turned on the two step verification with google Authenticator app. Then I got a new phone and can no longer gain access to my coinbase account. I've completed the steps to transfer my authenticator to my new phone but coinbase won't accept the codes from the new authenticator. What are my next steps? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 31 Jan 2021 05:10 PM PST Hello, im new here and wanted to share the story of how i discovr that i lost all my LTC Almost one year ago (February 13 2020) I decided to transfer my 4.6 LTC from bitrex to a paper wallet in order to keep them secure, I accesed this website: https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/bitcoinpaperwallet/generate-wallet.html?design=alt-litecoin which was promoted by this post after accesing I and turned off internet while generating entropy in order to the result not to be tracked by anyone, I printed in my offline home printer and transfered my funds. I do everything on february 13 2020. afterchecking that the funds where trasfered I stored the wallet in a secure location and forgot of it, ON september 19 2020 i checked again the balance on a blockchain tracker using my public address and dindt notice anything weird (I used https://live.blockcypher.com/ but as you can see the fisrt number you see is recieved ltc so maybe i dindt notie the sent and balance part that day), Today January 31 2021 I cheked again only to see all my funds where gone!, after checking the blockchain I realize on February 14 2020 someone transfered my funds to another address and it continue transfering to more and more addresses. in every step small portions where splited to other addresses, so i guess its a scramble pattern to lost the track of the funds. in those accounts thousands of ltc have passed so or they were transfered to a trading site or some whale accounts are funded via stolen ltc. I start to search information of other people who also lost their funds, i Know its imposible to get the funds back but because one of the reddit user is the one who at least was the owner of the site (aparently he sold it in April 2018 ) maybe he knew or is into this scam I believe is important to at least have an idea of who can be behind this scam. The idea of this post is to make consiussness of the dangers around the use of cryptocurrency and to be alertin order to find how people manage to steal this new type of currency. I live alone and no one have access to my private key, i never took pictures of it or share or aything, also in less that 24 hours the funds where stolen so theres only two scenarios here: 1.- The page uses fake entrophy in order to make a constant list of wallets and when it detect one of them have funds stole them. 2.- Someone have the hability to bruteforce private keys and is stealing hundreds of LTC from hundreds of people. I would really like to hear what do you think. You can follow my address transactions to find if your stolen LTC are in the scramble chain https://live.blockcypher.com/ltc/address/LKejbYaYcAzLW57RwmqsVcDcggeANq7pQM/ [link] [comments] |
