I don't know why Bitcoin Cash keeps winning in every possible metric: Transaction numbers, community growth, adoption, low fees, price, and salt production among certain circles.

If anyone gets a chance please ask Andreas Antonopoulos why it's better to have a high fee decentralized base layer (BTC) and push transactions to low fee centralized second layer (LN).

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 08:40 PM PST

This guy used to just make sense, now I can't follow him for more than a few minutes at a time. He says we will only have one proof of work chain, BTC, and that LN works great. Like what is he talking about?

He used to follow the logic of Satoshi but seems to talk nonsense now.

If enough people keep asking him these simple questions he can't block us all (he blocked me on Twitter for asking this).

My favorite Kim Dotcom interaction from his pro BCH tweet

There was a lot of bashing and "what about <insert your favorite altcoin>?", but by far, my favorite and most underrated response was:

Understanding BCH Ratio Pairs - This is why BCH is about to explode Upwards in fiat value

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 02:10 PM PST

I bought in at $700 USD ... but mainly because the LTC/BCH, BTC/BCH and ETH/BCH "all time" charts made it obvious the ratio on all three is going to correct violently causing a massive surge in the fiat value of BCH.

You can see this for yourself:

    1. Go to coinmarket cap, set charts to "All Time"

    2. Set your crypto in options to LTC then look at BCH chart priced in LTC

LTC/BCH — Saturday was close to historic lows for how few LTC's buys 1 BCH at around 2.8 LTC = 1 BCH (has moved up to 3.30 today, still super low). The average price on the chart shows is way higher. During bull runs 10 - 16 LTC = 1 BCH

3.. Reset Crypto in options to BCH

BCH/ETH - At a historic high for how much BCH it costs to buy ETH. 2.5 BCH = 1 ETH on the charts. Average historical price around 0.7 BCH = 1 ETH

BCH/BTC - At a historic high for how much BCH it costs to buy BTC. 67 BCH = 1 BTC. Average historical price under 40 BCH = 1 BTC

When these sky high ratios correct, the fiat price of BCH will explode upwards.

I've been trading off crypto pairs for awhile now and learned the magic of understanding ratios. What you come to understand is that Historical ratio averages on crypto pairs rarely lies unless you buy into "it's a new paradigm" garbage.

BCH fiat value is about to explode upwards IMHO.

What are the best neutral forums/news sites for cryptocurrency discussions?

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 01:18 AM PST

I legit got this question from a friend that wants to learn more about crypto in general, but I found it really difficult to recommend any forums with real discussion.

The only few coin-specific forums I frequently visit that I find somewhat sane are:

r/BTC - Most relevant to BCH/BTC, but it is still constantly being brigaded by salty r/bitcoin users. Also slightly too much obvious BCH propaganda to counter said brigading(understandable).

r/Monero - Used to be the the most sane community, i.e with their "Don't buy Monero" tagline. But the latest Tesla PR-stunt brought them down a few notches IMHO.

Forums that I know to avoid are:

r/Bitcoin - Just try voicing a differing opinion and see how that works for you.

r/CryptoCurrency - has devolved to a silly meme-community, no actual discussion.

So can you please help me create a list with good sites that allow actual discussions on cryptocurrencies? And maybe also what sites to avoid, and why?

So I bought some BCH on uphold, but any of my addresses I try to send to from uphold are listed as invalid (incorrectly formatted).

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

BCH, BTC, ETH, even DOGE all took a big dive around 9pm

Could be an algo or bot, interesting to see such a strong correlation across multiple coins like this.

This move above $500 is more important than you think! Chart inside!

This move above $500 is more important than you think! Chart inside!

I got my first BCH when the fork happened. Many of my friends dumped BCH early on because of the FUD campaign, which is fine, I have a feeling most people did the same in the early months.

What follows is a long period of sideways action here:

    https://preview.redd.it/r82unsy39hh61.png?width=979&format=png&auto=webp&s=4dbfd70803879015c1f4c1ad4b445c5ab73d3e95

What you see here are BCH holders dumping coin as they give up and put their money into BTC, ETH or what ever else was moving higher. But what you are also seeing is accumulation of BCH in the $200 to $500 range for a full two years!

This is the floor, this is as low as it managed to go (excluding the dip in late 2018). The move we saw last week above $500 is extremely important as it represents a shift in momentum from simply absorbing sellers to buyers outnumbering sellers and breaking to a new trading range.

This is extremely bullish in the short term, but there is still a lot of work to do. I suspect there are still a lot of BCH holders that have either forgotten they even own BCH or just waiting to break back into the +$1000 area. This is not going to be a moonshot, which is good in the long term.

Working through $1000, $1500, $2000 slowly is way better in the long run because it creates support levels on the way.

BCH has the fundamentals and growing creative community that is only starting to gain momentum now, and will really kick into gear once it gets over $1000.

If you just got here at $700+, this is just the beginning!
