My friend earned his first Bitcoin Cash and he wanted to spend it in something that really works in Africa and I recommended him to top-up his mobile phone and it worked just fine Bitcoin Cash can really be applied for the real world situations...

Bitcoin can be used both as an asset (replacing gold) and as cash, after the BCH (Cash) upgrade.

Here are the numbers from yesterday. Bitcoin processes 11% more transactions for 864,000% more in fees.

“Bitcoin represents a system where censorship is impossible, with no bias, no favoritism, no handouts, and no money printing” ... Except the subreddit they’re posting in, and everywhere else the BTC dev team or other core maximalists control...

What is causing this meteoric rise in transactions on the bitcoin cash network? Are they organic? If so this is insane.

If the difficulty of transacting BTC lends to its "Store of Value", please note that Bitcoin Cash also has one of the most advanced forms of being able to "not be spent". Every wallet has this feature - its a button called "Send" - to activate this feature, do not press it.

What are the possible outcomes from the NYAG Tether (USDT) verdict?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 11:19 PM PST

(I always get the feeling USDT is not discussed as much as it should be).

I thought there was going to be a verdict in January. Coingeek article says there should be a verdict this month.

Is the worse case a fine, or could there be something more which could cause it to go off the 1:1 peg like it had to 0.85 in 2018 and/or destabilize the crypto exchanges?

How is BTC different than BCH?

Another attack on our community but on Twitter - this is clearly a targeted attack on someone who is a huge evangelist for BCH. This is not uncommon. People who speak the truth are often targeted like this.

BTC from bitcoin BCH fork 2017 on trezor

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 02:19 AM PST

    Hi

I just loaded the BCH wallet on my trezor expecting to immediately see the corresponding amount of BCH that I had of BTC on the wallet in August 2017 but it was empty with no transactions. Can anyone help with how to get these coins?

    Many Thanks

BCH, and this subreddit is growing really fast.

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 08:00 AM PST

I remember a few years ago, it would take months to go grow from 200,000 to 250,000 users, and now we have reached the 400,000 mark and are about to approach 500,000 users on this subreddit, I believe very soon.

I am glad to see this. Even as I spedn, more and more merchants are accepting Bitcoin Cash as one of their currencies; and for some reason, its easier to convince them to accept it rathet than yesrs ago.

If you're a new user here, I hope you feel welcome and you can ask any questions about BTC or BCH in tbe community, and you won't get banned for having a different opinion.

Bitcoin (BCH) has progressed so much in comparison to Bitcoin Core (BTC), it's not even funny anymore. And it's dirt cheap to use (forever) and buy (for now) to boot!

    My experience with Bitcoin Cash

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 06:46 AM PST

I've been trying to understand crypto for over six months now. I finally "get it." I bought bit of crypto on Coinbase - BTC, BCH, ETH etc. Played with different wallets, transferred coins around to test out. I used bitcoin .com wallet for the first time and I gotta say it's such a friendly wallet for keeping both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. I wanted to use crypto for an actual purchase so I was looking for ways to spend what little Bitcoin Cash I had and I figured I could directly buy gift cards on the app. This is super useful. I just bought Uber gift card for my future ride today using Bitcoin Cash on the wallet. I follow Roger Ver on twitter and I see him mentioning Bitcoin Cash and bitcoin .com wallet all the time, now I see why. Peer to peer electronic cash. Let's go!

CashFusion - how does peer discovery work?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 08:33 PM PST

Looking at the CashFusion website, I notice that it says the software authors do not run a fusion server (presumably for legal reasons?).

What I'm wondering is, when people turn on CashFusion in Electron Cash, how do peers find each other in order to orchestrate the fusion transaction? Does Electron Cash just come with a built-in list of fusion servers to check? Or is there some more decentralised mechanism at play?
