BCH surpasses BTC in tx count!

I'm starting to like bitcoin cash.

    Posted: 11 Feb 2021 12:42 PM PST

I remember back in 2018 when I used to hate on BCH because it was supposedly "fake bitcoin", and "roger ver shenanigans". Hell, I've even (unsuccesfully) tried to discredit bch by launching /r/bitconcash.

But now that you guys achieved similar bloc sizes and transaction amounts, while keeping the fees under a cent, I've come to realise there's more to the story.

In short: I've learned that just because something doesn't win the majority consensus, it isn't necessarily bad. After all, there will always be bad choices in democratic (and not so much democratic) elections.

Bitcoincash is confidently and rapidly creeping into the people's hearts, taking its deserving position in their lives. That's what a project targeted at rescuing the masses from financial oppression does.

    A btc cash out story

    Posted: 12 Feb 2021 12:40 AM PST

    Hey folks,

i've bought some btc a few years ago inside the Lykke wallet app. All looked good but 4 weeks ago, i needed some fresh cash (during the crisis). So i went to the app and sold some cryptos to USD. The balance was shown but when i want to send it to my bank account the issues arise.

I live in Germany, Lykke is based in Switzerland. My balance was in USD. The App shows, that USD withdrawal are currently not possible. so i waited a few days to see if they enable it again.

After a few days, still the same message: USD withdrawals are not possible. So i checked if i can change USD to EUR. well, that worked somehow (not sure if i got a good exchange rate). I saw the EUR Balance and thought ok, perfect lets put in the IBAN and send it to my bank account in germany... Well, i can tell you, the money is still not on my bank account...

It seems that the cash out request has to go through a finance comitee? or sth similiar? It feels like they have to agree to send the money to a specific bank account. Is it because i live in germany and the company is based in switzerland?

a few days ago i got the message that the cash out request is scheduled. They still write that it can take up to 5 days to arrive on my bank account.

if i look back 4 weeks ago, it's so simple to send cryptos to wallets all over the world in seconds. Sending real money to other countries seems to still be a huge pain?! Next time i would probably send the cryptos to a different exchange in my country...

Well, i hope the money arrives soon 😓

Reddit pro tip: Install RES. It tracks your up/down votes on users, and before too long it's really obvious who is just trolling this subreddit with disinguenous or unconstructive arguing. It's also a laugh to read a stupid post and then see you've already got that person at -10.

For every day that my bitcoin transaction is stuck, i will give out satoshis (in bch).

    Posted: 11 Feb 2021 06:37 PM PST

Everyday my tx is stuck in the bitcoin mempool, i will pick a person randomly to give them a very small amount of bch, to prove how btc is useless for micropayments. (Yes, you can use the lightning network. But you got to pay to open a payment channel in the first place, right? So enjoy that 20$ network fee anyway!)

BTC median fees will reach hundreds of $ per transaction. Meanwhile, BCH median fee always remain small. This is why BCH will be the most used cryptocurrency.
